since this week was primarily focused on the tribe that lost last week as well as this week,.....I was glad to see Roxy get voted out i wasn't really a fan of hers after this episode, i like Angie and Malcolm and i like Lisa so i hope she continues to grow and find herself on this show.

Our local CBS affiliate saw fit to air a debate between Leonard Boswell and Tom Latham (Iowa congressional race). Survivor was aired at 2:07 am this morning (after all the late shows and two infomercials).
Russell provided what may be one of the most iconic speeches of Survivor-right up there and maybe surpassing Susan Hawk's rats and snakes dying of thirst in the desert speech. While everyone listened in disbelief, he said something along the lines of "God made me perfect so I'm not supposed to fail." He just did not understand why everything sucked so much for him. And the tiniest tribe in Survivor history became even tinier. Would be funny if they didn't absorb them into the other tribes and they dominated and made it to the merge as a two man team. I mean, can they have the other teams sit out four guys for challenges? |

lol that would be funny, did you see how the women snarled at that bs...?
Im hoping for the 2 that are left remaining on that tribe....I am pulling for them for sure. I think that the 2 left will be absorbed into the other tribes next week.

That kid calling Lisa "the Church Lady" and "sweet little old Lisa". Sheesh.
Gaea was right, the tiny two person tribe was absorbed into the other two tribes last week. This week we got the merge. |

Man, Probst called it last night when he said that last night's tribal vote may go down in Survivor history as one of the biggest lost opportunities. Man, that was dumb.
I mean, dont get me wrong - I didnt exactly like Jeff - he'd been becoming increasingly hostile for absolutely no reason, except that he didnt want a returning player to win. That was it - his whole reason for acting like more and more of an ass each week. It was weird to watch and made me wonder if there were a lot more things going on that they were leaving off the episodes or what. But for Penner to talk all of those people into voting for Pete but then he turns around and votes for Abi instead? Wtf was that?? I know that Scupin also messed it up by voting for Jeff, but if Penner has stayed the course, there would have been a tie and they might have been able to get rid of Pete. Speaking of Pete - what a horrible idea it was for Lisa to trust him with the info about Malcolm having an idol and her plan to blind-side him. I mean, she really had no choice because she had to talk to them to get them to vote for Malcolm (I like Lisa, but I'm glad it didnt work!), but Pete - he just ran right to Malcolm and then believed him when he said he didnt have the idol. So yeah, last night was crazy and the tribal council was freaking awesome because so many people tried to throw others under the buss, secrets were brought out into the open, idols revealed, etc - it was a great tribal council. lol Ok, enough venting - next week looks like Lisa might *finally* step away from the jerks of her original tribe and alliance and go with another alliance - this time, I hope she keeps a few more things closer to her chest (or vest, which ever you prefer lol)! |

She was then absorbed into the other tribe, so there was no real merge that season - and I think that was the only season without an actual merge. I really like Lisa, Denise, and Malcolm - I know he called Lisa the "church lady" (which made me think of Dana Carvey on SNL and I lol'd) and more then one of them has called her "old" - but I still rally like those 3 and would be so happy to see them make it to the final with Denise or Lisa winning at the end. ![]() |
