I hope Obama is strategic and no bullshit passes him by, it's a town hall kinda debate empathy and calm factual answers and better body language will be more pleasing to the "audience".

I agree. I keep hearing this debate may make or break him. Romney seems to be getting the lead in more states and it is due to the debates.

I think people would rather hear (the debates and candidates) than to just listen to the BS commercials to decide who to vote for. I could be wrong too. . but for me it's true.

Probably most major news sites will be posting it online. I watched the Veep debate after the fact.

I agree with Snow that the President's skills are better suited for this format.

The repugz are working and relying on their fear instilling tactics. The older generation still can be made to panic with the mere mention of Cuba, missiles, Russia, (China).

Yes I agree with this. I would hope that is what would be pleasing to the audience, and it is what Obama is good at. He remains calm in the storm and can make tough decisions with a cool head. That is one of the things he is great at. We don't need bluff and blunder.

I think Obama needs to spend more time on making the case of how he can keep moving the country forward. Don't let the bullshit pass by, but at the same time focus more on what he can do and has done.

I really wonder if Romney can pull off looking empathetic. I am sure he is practicing real hard. I just want to see one glimmer when a regular person asks him a question and it is obvious he has no clue what the person is talking about.

I'd be surprised if Romney screwed up, but he did make the Big Bird gaffe. I am not sure if that hurt him, but that's the kind of thing that happens when he talks off the cuff.

Taking my seat ringside. I hope the President will appear more enthusiastic about wanting to be re-elected and not allow Romney to get away with untruths without any sort of rebuff, challenge and clarification.
