[Princess4u]

She sits by the sea waiting, watching
as the waves caress the shore like a lover's touch.
She tries to remember a day,
when it didnt always hurt.
But her mind is at a loss,
for no such time has ever been.

She sits by the sea,
the wind tangles through her hair.
She tries to think of a moment,
when her world was peaceful and still.
But there has never been a moment
such as that she could call serene.

She watches the waves as they come one by one.
As if two lovers in a dance, twirling on the sand.
Taking their turns with a bow or a curtsy,
playing their rhythmic game of come hither,
among the seaweed and shells they dream.

She touches the water with her out stretched pale foot.
Wondering, yearing to become one with this mystery.
She steps in further, feeling the cold water surround her,
like a morbid blanket of peace which envelopes her pain.
Numb to the future, she slowly sinks in the darkness and
surcomes to the airless tomb where she rests for all eternity.
