Sleepless Dreams

Like wind she blows in my face
Lightening bolts coming at a fast pace
My heart the way it does race
With images my fingertips can trace

She wakes my sleep
With thoughts that creep
Feeling her deep
As she does peep

Dreams that don't come true
But at least I get to view
Before the feeling of blue
Wakes me as if on cue

That lonely sleepless night
When all you do is fight
Until the dawn of light
Hoping everything will turn out right

Memories remembered but never made
Only in dreams they're displayed
And oh how they do invade
Common sense is over weighed

Longing to make it real
If only I could feel
Without having to conceal
What I think can be ideal
