What's Happening in Austin

Something different for dinner/lunch!?!? The Melting Pot, there are two; one downtown and one north. the one north is probably easier for parking. But it really doesn't matter to me. I was thinking the weekend of April 2,3, or 4th.

Hey folks, just wanted to let y'all know that blush and I won't be able to make dinner, the derby or the melting pot. We just have entirely too much going on with her and fuz moving in this weekend.

If this is like the Melting Pots in Denver (fondue places), you will have to make a reservation. It's probably out of my price range right now. I have one of my writer's conventions coming up which means I have to scrape all my pennies in one direction.

And maybe you can help me figure out what is going on with my sewing machines. I have two. One is a Singer Featherweight (my grandmother's) and the other is a...Brother? It's an old one that they used to use in Home Ec classes according to someone who saw it.

Uh Im not sure what "this weekend" your talking about as this is Sunday so this "this weekend" is nearly over, which would put us a week away from the next "this weekend" which would be the dinner and derby. this making the Melting pot the next next "this weekend" I suppose as long as it doesnt interfer with the next next next "This weekend" its all good!

If some of the boys are goin' camping and kayaking, I say the girls need to have a sewing night on Friday, April 9th, here at Chez Diva.

I have 2 machines and a serger. Bring Yours! Shari and Mini Berry are coming....I have tables to set up.....

We can order pizza and do the ol' Sew 'n' Sew Do~Si~Do!

I do indeed....there's a small screw on Your bobbin casing...if there's too much tension, try loosening that screw just a touch. See how that works for You.

And of course, I would teach You.....my Mom taught me! <smile>
