I think three ways that a person could sabotage themselves would be to buy into social held stereotypes, myths or prejudicial bias.

Please give me three ideas that might help make a New Years Eve party a party worth attending.

Have a champagne fountain.
Have helium ballons and everyone write one thing they want to rid their life of, IE drama, then at midnight everyone let the ballons go free outside.
Set up a camcorder and each person one my one sit in front of the camera and say what they hope the New Year holds for them or what their goals are , then next year everyone gets to watch the video and laugh at each other.

On wishful thinking list:
-to be able to pay off all my student loans in one fell swoop.
-- to have a wonderful job that makes me feel like I've doing something good for others and myself.
--- to take a year off and travel; see places I've longed to see.

On my 'right now' list:
-enjoy a chocolate marshmallow treat (with coconut)
-- a hot bath
--- a night out on the town (maybe go dancing)
