We are working for free for this community and have to do that on our personal time in addition to our real time jobs and families. That is sometimes inconvenient for both us and for you and we do appreciate your understanding as we work out the kinks.

I do enjoy a single glass now and then while in chat, though. But you are free to have as many glasses as you would like (as long as you crash on the couch) Safety first.

I will say it's been really nice seeing chat folks hanging out in the forum threads. Hope you all have enjoyed a different kind of platform for the time being. Don't worry, we'll be back to our fast-paced, scrolling wall of lightning in no time! LOL

Although I am one of those who migrated to this site for the sake of chat and have been anxious for restoration of the chat room, I've come to find over the last week that the forums have been both entertaining and interesting. So in a way, the delay of the new chat room has benefitted me greatly. I'm sure there must be others who feel this way too.

My message? I appreciate all the effort you and others have made to provide this civil venue for us communicate about things that matter to us, as well as things that amuse us.

I feel the same way about the chat delay. The forums have been a lot of fun and while I've been posting on them for awhile, I got to see them a little differently this past week.

Welcome to the Planet, Jean. I hope you have found everything you ever thought about chatting about here. If not, make up your own forum thread and start it. In the mean time, enjoy your temp. chat here with the rest of us chatters waitn for the chat room to be up and running again.
