Those lovely Femme Hands

I stand on my feet all day, and sadly these were badly neglected. The other day, I dragged out my electric foot bath and soaked. Then I rubbed cream all over, and painted the toenails with my daughter's purple sparkly polish

. It was so pleasant, and they look decadent.

I have perfect "piano hands"-not really long fingers, but broad palms for reaching octaves

. I've given up biting the nails and picking at the cuticles, with mostly success, and they're finally growing out. They need a good manicure tonight, but it feels pretty to me to polish them. I'm not bold enough nor do I have the hands for bright red, but a pale pink looks more "finished" and doesn't show chips too quickly.
