I love those too, especially if I am walking outside and I can feel the cold from the pavement or see my breathe. It's so nice and inviting to look over and see this big house with the fire going, the smell of the smoke from the chimney. It makes me want to come home to a movie and someone to cuddle.

Yes! And also I can just sit and watch a fire and literally feel my cares drain away while I listen to the crackling! When I first moved to the subtropics, I laughed at people who had fireplaces here because I thought it was absurd, but it gets really cold here! I'm freezing my butt off today, lol.

Hot herbal tea is always my "go to" solution for just about anything. Hot cocoa would be just as nice this evening. It is cold and snowy again.

None of the snow has really melted from the storms, except for the bit that washed away when it poured and flooded (by bit I mean I had 2 ft of water in the basement)

I found this great website about a year ago. They sell teas/spices/herbs/essential oils, but their tea selection is really good and you can order in small quantities to try different blends or you can buy bulk if you already know what you like. The coolest part to me is you can buy tea bags separately and make your own custom blends (if you use tea bags). You iron the tea bags to seal them, which is kinda cool to me, but I don't always have the time to play with that. And I think their prices are very reasonable. So, it's been a great find for me.
