Good news to report.Julie said they r not going to have to replace the valve..they r going to repair it. A ring has been placed into the valve and they r checking it to see if its going to work properly.......thanks Julie for keep us informed!
FYI...the ring in a heart valve...is sorta like an o ring on a facet for leakage ...its called..annuloplasty...hope I spelled that right.... I'll post when I hear more! |

Going to try to post from my phone. Just spoke with the doctor HUGE SUCCESS! He had the valve repair and not a whisper of a leak. They also did some cryosurgery to treat his atrial fibrillation. They won't know if it worked for a bit but the valve repair was a success and no bad complications. We get to go up and see him in 45 minutes!
