Vikings - awesome stuff. 'Gritty' and a little gruesome; I shall be following this one.
The Following - a little formulaic and hammily acted by the serial killer protagonist but not a bad diversion for 40mins. |

After finishing the series 'The Eagle' which is about the Danish equivalent of the US CIA, I wanted some more and found the series 'The Protectors' which is the Danish sized equivalent of our US secret service, I am watching it now. I enjoy the international crime types of series, when MI5 went off it took me a while to recover.

Vikings is available on the free streaming sites I use. Infact I don't pay for tv .....apart from the BBC license fee which I pay because sometimes I wanna watch 'live' tv. All the streaming sites I use are free.
Yes, it is wonderfully barbaric

I have access through Netflix, Amazon (has Vikings at $1.99 per ep.), and anything Roku hosts. I did find a roku channel (Mhz) that streams quite a bit of Danish, Swedish, and Norwegian stuff; unfortunately it is pricy at $3.99 per ep., it even has the original Swedish Wallander. Too rich for my willingness to pay. I don't watch any broadcast TV. |
