Making the decision to keep Eider/Eiger (he has both names on his paperwork), and to rename him, because he doesn't seem to come to either of those names, unless I'm holding his ball. He is responding well to the names Chessie & Chess. We have some basic skills to work on, but he is a very fast learner, and also a bit on the stubborn side.
I can't wait to get him up to par on his training, because then it will be time for hiking and swimming! He is amazingly well behaved around other dogs, and I am planning on keeping him socialized and well exercised, so that he makes a great outdoor companion. |
