 Years ago, right after I was in a serious car crash, I remember going out to a lake, high up in the mountains - with my first partner - and it brought peace to me: Just to be in a boat, rowing aimlessly around the lake, breathing in all the natural beauty and letting some form of peace wash over me, even when I was still recovering from my injuries and high as a kite on pain killers. Floating effortlessly in a boat on water really does wonders for the soul.
