Helping a man with Down's syndrome today.
He smiled sooooo big at me when I made certain that he got what he wanted. He didn't make a sound. Also, made me cry. A shame that their lives ( down's) are short lived here on earth...the world could use more of those Angels. |

Ok, this was actually yesterday, but...
I smiled so much to see my girlfriend give 200% in her pageant last night. She is running for Ms Gay Edmonton and the finale is tonight. I will smile extra big when she is crowned.
 I smiled to see her big reveal on City TV Edmonton, Breakfast Television yesterday morning. We did a Dyke to Diva Makeover on the BT morning show. She was amazing. I smiled when a friend who had bought some of my art said his partner had shown it to a gallery owner that he knows and she said I am charging too little and she wants to see me next week.

So many things! First my day starting off just Perfect with a few texts and a phone call, then baking cookies for my Mom....then driving to a wedding for my uncle and his beautiful bride at a winery, and seeing relatives I hadn't seen for a long time...sometimes my smile was downright joyous laughter!

A little boy named Austin, at the auction. He couldn't have been but 3 at the most. He was good as gold all day long. It was hot and loud and bustling with about 300 people off and on all day. His greatest joy was finding a pair of tongs to play with ahhhh the imagination of a child. Yes the imagination of a child made me smile.
OH and the hummingbirds! I didn't count how many feeders this house had but it had a bunch of them and a gazillion hummingbirds buzzing around like litte dive bombers.
