Ahhh, yes I do see the dilemma. Born and bred in the Southern United States could mean either a "red dirt girl" or a "Southern Belle." Although on the surface these two archetypes might seem wildly divergent let me assure you that inwardly that is not the case.

Y'all are welcome any time! Just give me a bit of warning if you expect BBQ as smoking can take 24 or so hours depending on the crowd.

I think we should have a BFP beach party! Grilling out, volleyball, swimming, sailing and fires on the beach in the evening! Someone (not I) needs to get on this.

I for one do not want a knight in shining armor (I haven't met any yet but have met a few ne'er do wells in tinfoil) and I bet Miss Cinn would agree. I had much rather have one dented, tarnished and scarred because they have lived life and not sat on the sidelines afraid of a little dirt. But if you want a bit of an edge PM me and I will send you my pound cake recipe which is sure to make her swoon.

I can honestly say, I am one who is dented, tarnished and scarred, but continues on. I have hope the one for me will see me, flaws and all, yet still want to be with me. I don't have much to offer, but I have a big heart. For some, not much is a turn around and walk away. For others, it won't matter at all. As much as I'd like to matter to someone, I want the one that being me won't matter at all to them. I have good days and bad days, but don't we all. Most of all, I feel with every fiber of my being.

Well crushers, it's not hard to put the words up, so someone can see where you're at and what you want or are looking for. I am always about getting to know others from the inside out. Looks can fade over time, but what's inside your heart will always be.

It goes far beyond a crush. Once in a while someone comes along and sweeps you right off your feet when you least expect it. And I'm loving every minute of it.

I know my way around a grill and I also know to grill is not the same as to barbecue. I can debate raw charcoal vs. wood chips, dry rub vs. wet (get your minds out of the gutter we are talking food here) as well as a host of other foodie topics. I even did a three year stint on a BBQ team for Memphis in May. I am a purist and I have very strict rules on how I grill and BBQ and don't even come onto my property with a can of lighter fluid or I will snap at you with my tongs.

That said, my grandmother taught me from knee high that to sit down with those you care for in a spirit of thankfulness and love will make any meal, even a crust of bread and water, a feast worthy of any palace.
