I've got a homemade soup that is simmering slowly on the stove for tonight. It's a soup of mostly vegetables, legumes and a variety of seasoning herbs (rosemary, grated ginger root, and a touch of sea salt).

I am also baking a small basket of bread rolls to go with the soup.

Seeing as how I came home from a cruddy work day and took my frustrations out on my kitchen (polished marble, scrubbed and conditioned wood cabinets, scour sinks, etc.) I will be *darned* if so much as one grain of rice hits that sink. Ergo dinner was;

Raisin Bran in a paper bowl eaten with a plastic spoon.

Fresh peach eaten with a wad of paper towels and not over the sink was for dessert.

Katniss~~(I will send a check to Greenpeace tomorrow for adding to the greenhouse effect by unnecessary use of disposable dishes)

p.s. Nanner's post reminded me I have a bottle of moscato in the fridge...

I had the rest of my lunch from earlier... half a cheese enchilada, beans, rice, and chips and hot sauce.. I ate all of the red taco at lunch.. It was real good..

I did Grilled Tri-Tip and it was tender and yummy! I also roasted organic beets with olive oil and sprinkled asiago cheese over them and had some fresh baked sour dough bread. oh yeah, I also roasted fresh red peppers. It was all so good and I am stuffed!

Ok...soooo I gave it lots and lots of thought and decided that it would not be fair to the dog to eat him for dinner LMAO. Instead of Chocolate Lab ribs...<Drum roll> I had an Everything bagel and white cheddar cheese for dinner. Oh and a Diet Dr. Pepper.I even shared it with the dog. I felt guilty LMAO

Chick'n tenders cooked with sesame oil, minced ginger, garlic, chili paste, soy sauce, and red chili flakes. I placed the tenders in romaine leaves, and topped each with a bit of my homemade fresh Thai peanut sauce and cilantro.
