The editor and chief at the paper is back from this year's stint on the TransAmerica bicycle ride. Hooray for a return to structure. The office was kind of a mess without him.
I got a package containing a Sharktopus plush and special edition Doctor Who stamps. Friends in other countries rule. And Squishy and I slept until noon today.

After I got my hair cut and coloured (which made me smile),
I went to visit a friend of my sister's to pick up a used computer. She's gay and I thought about asking her for a date once, but thought it might be too weird so I chickened out. But it was nice visiting with her today.

Going out to the garden after days away (due to work, and the rain) and finding many happy surprises! Beans! And lots of them! Peas! Not as many...but I will take what I can get! Flowers on the zucchini/summer squash! Many tomatoes....still green...but the potential for even more...if the flowers on the plants are any indication....
Also.... My morning client....she is just so lovely....and endlessly surprises me with moments of complete lucidity and extreme insight....
