What did you want to be when you grew up?

When I realized that Ninja Turtle wasn't an option I wanted to be a falconer.

I really ended up working in a zoo with a falconry as a holiday job for a while but it's not compatible with my view on ethical treatment of animals anymore.

...still adore birds of prey though. Those eyes!

I wanted to be "Dixie" ( a nurse) off the 70's show Emergency with Chet and Gage. Then I went on to wanting to be "BJ" (a truck driver) off "BJ and the Bear". I went on to do and loved both!

Hi,

When I was a kid I wanted to be a veterinarian because I love animals so much but I soon found out that I am not so good with pain and suffering not to mention blood.

Fast forward to my graduate work and I met the professor that changed my life when she introduced me to the beauty of wetlands so I became a environmental scientist who's specialty is wetlands.
