OK, season's over. What did you think?
***** SPOILERS ************* Full frontal Eric was hot, no pun intended. I was unimpressed with the Warlow plot in general. Bored really. Terry's funeral was awesome. Jason's D/s relationship should have been hotter than it was. But I love Jason. Jessica has been on a long strange trip, but it's been interesting when so little else was. I never thought I'd say this, but they have been over-doing it with Sheriff Andy's awesome reaction shots. It's almost contrived now. Eric looking down at the recently ravished (for his blood) Jason and saying to him, "Jason Stackhouse . . . looking good." Damn, that was hot. Less Tara . . . thank the gods. Less Pam . . . *pout* Sam's new girlfriend . . . whiny and annoying. Sam telling Sookie basically to go take a flying leap . . . priceless. Eric crying over his dying sister . . . awwwww. *sniffle* (sincere sniffle) Having the vampires and humans have to pair up like reluctant prom dates -- pretty funny. Tara and her mom's reconciliation . . . twisted but effective Sarah Newlin . . . worked sometimes and not other times. When it worked, great camp. Steve Newlin's death . . . cool. Governor Burrell was a good nemesis. Vamp Camp was OK. It was all a little True Blood Lite. I have hardly mentioned Bill and Sookie because, well, who cares? |
