My Mom named me after a male (yes, male...LOL) character in her favorite childhood book "Little Women."
While I use the formal version professionally, my family and friends call me by the more familiar, shorter form that I prefer. For years I considered legally changing it to that shorter form but after Mom died I decided to keep it as is. After all, she chose it and it meant so much to her... |
