The socks only slide around if they or the shoes don't fit well. It's good to match a thinner sock with a thicker sock on the outside.

Well, since you are the layering queen, you should know! I thought it was more of a problem if it was a thinner sock inside a thicker sock. I don't know. I just remember the feeling (eons ago), was creepy. If I wasn't so lazy I would get off of this recliner, go upstairs, and try it again!

Sooooo, it happened last night. Being 5 degrees outside, it got a bit cold in here. Mostly because I didn't consider that I was up later than usual and my automatic temperature control changed to overnight temperature level..5 degrees colder.

My feet were freezing and I remembered Ms. Gemme and her layering. Indeed, it works! Warm toes!

I purposefully bought plain black ankle socks this weekend.

BUT, I had a good reason, I swear! Every now and again in life you just have to tone down the sockage to show off your bright red shoes.

Apparently I went out tonight wearing only one sock. It was yellow with pictures of nail polish bottles on it. On the other foot I wore only my sneaker.

I have no idea what to make of this.

I love my fuzzy socks. I've got every colour imaginable. People make fun of me and can't understand why I would wear such thick socks but when they are so soft on my feet, I can't resist!
