{-1-} I was homeless for the past 2 1/2 years.

{-2-} Part of the learning process in being Homeless has left me with borderline OCD & my PTSD-related hypervigilance has increased twice as strong.

{-3-} After my Aunt sent for us to return to Puerto Rico, I suffered 2 hairline hip fractures on my right side after passing out from heat exhaustion{it was in the high 90s and I was fresh off of hemoDialysis}, requiring hip replacement, leaving me with a slight limp

{-4-} I don't let nobody babysit my Service Animal for Deaf, the Hospital has 2 choices, allow her in my room w/o protest, or I sign out AMA and contact a Lawyer for the Disabled...

{-5-} I'm back in College for 2014, with a few Major/Minor concentration changes all of them focusing on Pre-Law {{ Major: Socio-Cultural Anthropology, Double Minor: Religious Studies & Gender}}

I've read your post and I want you to know that I am empathetic. I cannot imagine the hardship. I care about that...I don't know you and I'm helpless in lending a hand—first hand. But I want you to know, I am supportive and I am going to do something quietly and privately to help you in a way you're not aware of.

If there are positive changes in your life, please let us know. And know, that I am thinking of you and concerned for your welfare.

I'm shy in some things. I won't make the first move when I'm out with someone. I just can't. I haven't had to for the past decade so getting back into the Vancouver thing where butches don't make first moves (? Or something?) I have sat parked in a car outside my house for up to an hour talking, feeling really confused because aren't they supposed to at the very fucking least try to kiss me here? Isn't that the whole point of sitting in a parked car outside my house? And waiting.... And waiting.... And nothing.... Dum de dum.... Ok this is agonizing for me now, I don't understand why we are sitting here, I'm going to go. And I leave feeling horribly disappointed. Then confused as to why they are calling and asking me out again if they don't want to kiss/shag me. It's obviously not for hanging out, they are asking me on date things. But they don't try to kiss me and they don't ask to stay over or put their hand on my leg or....???

So if that happens twice, I turn down the third date. It seems that it's a pointless exercise in awkward and growing confusion. I've had one take me on six dates and nothing happened. Why? Why would I keep going? I have no idea what that person wanted from me. I don't understand. I finally stopped going and finally stopped responding to messages.

So, I can't make first moves. At all. I can ask someone to go hang out for a beer. But I can't make the first physical moves. Apparently this is a hideous handicap now. Wasn't before, now is.

1. I LOVE Opera even though it often brings me to tears…

2. I prefer an authentic book over electronic readers of any sort… the feel, the smell, just the simple act of turning a page can be so breathtaking…

3. I CAN NOT Swim but have no fear of deep water… have run into the ocean and not given it a second thought…

2- I just started a new job 3 weeks ago
3- I played basketball for approx. 25 years (H.S. then Women's league competitive and recreational)
4- I started to wear glasses about 35 years ago (but THANKFULLY I was able to get contacts at 17 years old)
5- I am the luckiest person to be marrying the most amazing woman with such a beautiful soul

1. when I eat wheat, I feel like a semi ran me over the next day or I suffer from a killer migraine.
2. I like to take breaks from social media, especially when I feel my life is lacking in something.
3. I've been creating art every day for the past 2 weeks.
4. I haven't talked with mom for the past 2 months, and its been pretty awesome.
5. I've adopted an elderly person.

2. I love to cook, but am only a so so baker.

3. I hate gardening, but I have 16 rose bushes that i care for as a tribute to my Mom.

4. I have gotten mellow since this latest illness, and no longer enjoy a good argument.

5. I gave away my Kindle, preferring the feel and smell of a real book.

1. That I'm soft spoken I don't care much for yelling.
2. When someone has done something for me to lose trust in them , I give second chances.
3. When I'm deeply in love I wear my heart on my sleeve for all to see.
4. I'm a good listener , In order to solve different situations I think listening helps on all levels.
5. I'm not a bragger about the things I've accomplished in life I would rather extend a helping hand or pass on any knowledge I have to someone else as long as it's useful for them or persons or people.
