Slight change of plans. I had the pork loin, which was thicker than most of the steaks I eat, and I did top it with guac and salsa but I went with sweet potato fries and cheese tortellini instead of rice and veggies.

Crockpot chicken wings

Since the coolest we're gonna be until October is 90*, everything (including my meatloaf) is being done in the crockpot these days. i even bought a smaller crockpot at an estate sale for $5 to make veggie sides.

Crockpot meatloaf is really, really good, and you can find recipes on-line.

Toss a salad or crockpot a veggie and you have a meal that won't heat up your house.

Tonight on the grill will be very tender steaks , green beans with a little bacon/sweet balsamic/ and a little pepper, portabella mushrooms in olive oil/a little butter/ garlic/and a melted tub of beef stock to make gravy...

In the oven will be scalloped potatoes...

To top it off with a small salad of fresh greens right from my garden...

probably leftovers--

made a crockpot mexican flavoured brisket the other day--
so last night-- I made a mexican style flavoured slaw (cilantro, lime/lemon juice, cumin, chili powder, red/green cabbage, orange sliced peppers, and avocado oil).
Add a huge pile of slaw with meat and eat.
