Just curious if anyone has read the book? I am just over halfway done and have to say not as good as I thought it was going to be. Usually I enjoy the book over the show but not this time around.

I know a few people in chat (including me) have finished the season. I assume spoilers are ok since the thread is about the show. I know people in chat were trying not to give specifics, just what episode they were on.

I am watching and have I think three or four episodes left. I guess I will avoid this thread until I am done. A discussion of the season would be cool, but I don't know how slow/quickly people will be finishing.

I was thinking about the poll and wondering if anyone has changed their mind from season 1 to season 2. I might have answered Crazy Eyes for Season 1 (but I might have said Alex cuz she is a hottie). I really didn't like where her character went in the first part of Season 2 (not talking about the last few episodes in case ccb is reading cuz I am not sure she can control herself).

I can't control myself. As evidenced by the fact that I keep clicking on this thread even though I hate spoilers. Well, that's that. I guess I need to watch the rest tonight and I will be safe.

Seen both seasons and I think season 2 is better than season 1.

I think it is richer and truly more diverse and clearly develops the understanding of how lack of privilege is a life long emotional prison. But....I still missed more of Alex and Alex and Pipes (I am now so addicted I use nicknames, lol)

We were away this weekend and watched the last two last night.

I think it was even better season 2.

Because so many people want to talk about this, but we don't want to spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen it yet, a few of us decided to watch it together.

We thought we all could fire up our netflix, go into one of the chat rooms set up for this and all press START at the same time and watch together while talking in chat. Maybe 2 or 3 binge shows at a time?

Who wants to join? And if so, what day and time works for you?

and should we start with season one and let people catch up?

I really loved this season as well, and I think I liked it even more than season one. I hate how quickly watching it goes by, though, and that we have to wait another year!

I would enjoy more in depth discussion, but since I was a big fat whiner about spoilers I will give anyone who wants to hold off until they finish watching a chance to speak now or forever hold their piece.
