Wow, what a season. Was totally shocked (and oddly satisfied) with the ending...
Won't give any spoilers (because that would be... "rude"  ) except to say that my all time favourite is this lady right here:  I saw an interview with Kate Mulgrew, the actress who plays Red, where she talked about the reaction that fans had to the series and she said "It's an exploration of women at their very best and at their very worst and at their most genuine. What could be better than that?" I think that sums up a large part of the appeal of the show quite nicely for the women I know who watch it. It feels authentic in a way that a lot of other shows do not. Personally, I can't wait for season three and for more gems and gifs like:

Well, it is 4:30AM...here sounds from daughter's room and she is still watching OITNB on her computer. Did what any good mother would do and crawled into bed and watched with her. So fun. OITNB is a bonding experience, lol
