At work I ordered twenty-four residents worth of meds that needed refills since our med person moved to another group home, and I finished all my monthly summaries by the deadline (10th of each month, and I was the only one who did them all today).
Not at work productivity? Ah, nada! |

Still at it.
Put drawers back. Cooked dinner. Cleaned kitchen loaded dishwasher fed critters for fourth time today. Stripped bed remade cleaned litter boxes (3) made cuppa joe. So freeking tired.

Made coffee... fed critters.... fell asleep. Feel wiped out.
Just awoke an hour ago. Oh. I did some work on little cabinet doors. Repainted one. They are ready for reinstalling. Look mucho cute. |

cleaning...
I took my big living room rug outside and beat it....let it sit out in the fresh air to cleanse a bit... swept and mopped the floor while the rug was up shook out the tablecloth... organized the kitchen table better put away the dehydrator swept and mopped the bathroom floor had a nice talk with a friend and co worker who I tend to be very chatty with WHILEST I was doing most of the above...  I HAD wanted to finish up in the kitchen...but now the rest of my house feels more orderly so I can focus on that for tomorrow if time allows, or Thursday before work... ALSO... applied for a job online and set up an interview for tomorrow yay! Oh and I WANT to get dishes done before I leave for work.. we shall see...

My usual housewife duties.... cooking cleaning pets...
Blather blab blab.... Then.... I decided to start making next year's summer outfits. So far have cut out one top and one jumper. I have an apron dress pattern somewhere that I want to do next. I'm doing some custom details on top. Adding yo yos to the bodice, kind of a peek-a-boo effect. If I have enough I will add some to the hem. The jumper is going to have contrasting pockets and applique dragonflies. Just something to throw on when going to the beach or doing yard work.. There are lots of scraps left... will make more yoyos and....? Simplicity patterns were on sale at Joanne's for 99˘ so I got cute vintage top patterns from the 50's and 70's. Kathy, my favorite waitress at Waffle House got all excited when I showed her... she made the same tops back in the 70's!!!! Must have been popular.

I removed about 75% of the old flooring in the kitchen all the way down to the subfloor. And boy was that a task since the previous owners laid plywood over the original hard tile floor and tiled right on top. Lazy bastards.
