True story...we pulled in at the first petrol station after getting our car in North Umberland, and the sign said 2.77 ( or thereabouts)...gas here was over $4.00 a gallon, so we were quite happy...until our English friend explained about it being in Liters

A tad bit North of Austin...
I just paid $1.96 a gallon. While I'm sympathetic to the oilfield folks that are currently laid off, I'm enjoying not hearing the agonizing screams of my wallet after I fuel up my truck.
