A documentary on the late Vivian Maier, a nanny whose previously unknown cache of 100,000 photographs earned her a posthumous reputation as one of the most accomplished street photographers. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2714900/ Fascinating, very interesting documentary we watched on Showtime. Worth your time if you have a chance to see it.

I passed it by when it was in the local theater, but now I'm wondering if I was too quick to dismiss it. It seems to have caught some awards. |

Not so much a "movie" but a BAD ASS Series on Netflix that I couldn't shake. Much less, stop watching. This show was/is one of my favorites on Netflix right now! I binge watched 4 seasons in less than a week! I refuse to describe anything else.

I saw this:
I didn't read the books so I'm not sure how close it stayed to them. It was entertaining but there are some issues here and there plus the character of Christian gets on my nerves with his creepiness and flagrant disregard for protocol. Plus I wish they let the actor use his natural accent. |

The Rewrite (2014)Stars: J.K. Simmons, Marisa Tomei, Allison Janney Hugh Grant
An Oscar-winning writer in a slump leaves Hollywood to teach screenwriting at a college on the East Coast, where he falls for a single mom taking classes there. Enjoyed it, but very predictable IMHO  After this movie however we caught Rosie O’Donnell's A Heartfelt Stand-up on HBO, she had some very funny moments! Check it out! |
