AQUARIUS SIX OF EARTH Generosity comes in many forms but the key thing to remember is to be generous with yourself. Don’t hold back on self-praise, on positive self-talk. And don’t dismiss it when it comes from others in your world. Honey, it’s a bit rude to tell people they are wrong about you. Hold your head up and smile when someone tells you that you rock. You do, you know. You rock.

Yeah, how many times have I said something like "Oh, it was nothing", or "So and so did more/helped me". Oops. And there's many ways to be generous with ourselves besides praise-giving ourselves time, music, expression, and rest, for instance. We can't be our best for our kids or partners until we're giving to ourselves even more generously than we give to everyone (and everything) else.

Conversely, if someone is doing that to you, please walk away. Don’t engage them. It’s simply not worth it. Let them sink in their own drama without you. Be brave!

Haha, that's spot on too. I'm making a point of being around positive, supportive people rather than whiners and complainers. But, if I'm honest, the one doing the best job of putting me down or playing small, is...me. Joy is an inside job.
