Good Morning!
Spring has fully sprung here. Severe storms last night. No damage here but some tree limbs down around the town. I have all my garden items ready to plant. Now to get my butt out there and get busy. Going with black mulch this year and a variety of colors. Excited to see how it turns out. A friend bought me back a cascading Tyler Texas rose. Planting it by the back window that helps keep birds from flying into the window. Hoping everyone has a great day and a wonderful week ahead. Peace,

i am having trouble keeping up with how fast the grass is growing in between rain storms! at least my house is clean and i got the lawn mowed before the bbq last nite
 today we are going to irving so teddybear can tie up some loose ends at work and check out another apartment because he wants to move close to his work right now coffee and a lap puppy on my lap while teddybear does weekly grocery shopping

I'm trying to keep today overeasy, but Kasey invited people back after church for lunch and a movie.
I baked a lemon cake (lemons from our tree) last night, and i just put a HUGE pot of beans and bacon in the crockpot this morning. Cornbread, sliced tomatoes, sliced avocados, beer, wine, iced tea and lemonade from our tree will round things out.  Have a great day all! |

Late night yesterday. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction ceremony went late. But I woke up pretty early today anyway. Grabbed breakfast, got ready, and checked out of the hotel. Then spent a few more hours at the museum. Just got in the car to settle in for the ride home.

Got off work this am at 0700 was up since 0130.... Oh well got a latte on way home then read Sunday paper and paid bills as I am leaving for vancover wash at 4 ish for firefighter work..... Before that I got 1 1/2 yds gravel for driveway and raised beds.... Shoveling it out kicked my butt!

It's going to be a lot easier for me now that I got some cough syrup. Last night and early this morning was not easy, either over or under.
I crawled out of bed before 9am, admitted my delusion of being able to work out, had a hearty and healthy breakfast (albeit with a reduced appetite-bonus!), played online, showered and made myself presentable and went to the drugstore and the nail salon and then Michael's and Sam's, in that order. I feel much better now and am aesthetically pleasing now as well so it's all good. |

Woke up at 8:30 a.m. due to my alarm. Decided to log into work and work on some tickets as I fell asleep last night working on them. I've been working OT since it's been offered, and I am losing three days due to our Disneyland trip so working all the extra hours I can this week to get close to those 24 hours.
Only other plans for today involve recycling and putting away laundry. Going in tomorrow on my day off. I might be kissing some ass as 1) I am the only one taking the offered OT and 2) I want to be promoted to Level II for a $3/hr increase. Also have a test at work tomorrow so I have to study tonight. If we fail it once they put us on probation and re-test us, and if we fail again then they fire us

Happy, Happy Sunday Morning!
The weather is perfect. Gardening work is on the menu today. But first it's a few relaxing cups of coffee and CBS Sunday Morning News. After the gardening is done Red and I are off for our weekly reflexology. We started this 3 weeks ago and it is amazing how much it has helped with so many different things.
