I treated myself to a zafu and zabuton for my meditation area (that I created by very cleverly rearranging the living room). Until now, I've been sitting on my couch or ottoman because this house has hardwood floors - ouchie! - which hurts no matter how many pillows and blankets I use (even though I have plenty of padding back there, lol)!
I also got a candelabra for my hearth which is going to look good and create a beautiful ambience. Those were kind of my birthday treats to myself, but I also need a bookshelf which I will probably go ahead and buy one in the next week or so because I'm sick of looking at boxes of books piled in my living room. It completely ruins the aesthetic.
