Better stock up on hurricane supplies. Btw...beautiful sunny day looking outside from the inside. It's mighty humid outside though. I'm hibernating in the craft room today.

Right now, night time skies are booming with thunder and dry lightening.
Scary stuff. It has been and will be hot for days, until late next week. Low tonight: near 60 degrees. High tomorrow: 100 degrees. Today's high was near 89, but it was a dry heat with little to no humidity (thank heavens). Hopefully, rain will come soon.

Last night, the world crashed down. It was quite beautiful. Lightning and thunderstorms and a few bouts of really hard but short rain.
One of my other stores in the area was struck by lightning. Not fun for that manager at all. Today it's bright and beautiful and sunshiney. I think it's supposed to hit in the mid-80s again. It's humid as heck though. I could do without that. |

after over a week of high 80s and 90s with humidity, we finally got a break! It was 80s today but not humid...and tomorrow is supposed to barely scrape 80...78 or so.. Hiking was SO much gooder without the ickiness... Thank you mother nature

It rained hard all night and early morning. I slept soooo good!
It's drizzling and misting now. High 60s I think. Once it stops, it'll be muggy as all get out though so I hope it rains all day (or at least until I am done with work). |
