Please forgive me if there is a thread dedicated to this already. I couldn't find one quickly, and was short on time. And now an anecdote: through a random course of events, I ended up being reminded in a very real way why I started coming here in the first place and why I love it so much. When this site was first started I felt completely alienated from the place I frequented and was very disheartened by it. Then low and behold this pink and green paradise was born and I again felt like I was part of a family. Tonight I went back to that old place and was starkly reminded why I left and it made me so grateful to know that no matter how often or not I come here, I have a place to be and it is an amazing place.

So I just wanted to express that gratitude to everyone that is a part of this family, but especially to the people that work so hard to keep this place going.

I really appreciate having this place to read threads and to chat in the chat room and to educate myself on things I may have not known had I not found them here. I've made some great friends here and I just wanted to say, "Thank You to Medusa and Jack and everyone else who works and plays a special part in keeping this space available. You are appreciated more than you will ever know."

I feel this way too, Arwen. This is a place to build friendships and lifelong relationships with people from all different backgrounds. We can all learn something from each other and maybe even have the opportunity to help each other. After all, isn't that why we are on this earth/planet?
