Today truly was a great time for. Yummy food, cherished time with kiddo, and then we just now left Diva's Pre-Thanksgiving Extravaganza ... What a wonderful time!!!

I will be playing chef for most of the day today it seems. I am making a crab salad and a liver pate roll for this weeks lunches. I am also making either coconut curry chicken or sour cream chicken for dinner...not sure which I am hungry for just yet. :)

Good MOrning to everyone!! had a little accident in the grocery store with the tomato sauce knocked it over on the floor and broke opsy, they came and cleaned it right up though. Gotta love the NY area they are so on top of things!! But its laundry time for my pants b/c it got the brunt of it and the sneakers too!!

Morning Singles!

I found an awesome park a few weeks back, so yesterday Bear and I went exploring. This park not only has several long paved roads that can be walked, it also has several dirt trails waiting to be explored. Lots of shelters with a covered overhead for the often sudden downpours we get here in Florida and grills to boot.. Huge trees with moss hanging from them, giving one the feeling they are in a sacred group of ancients. Plus it is right on the Gulf of N.M. All in all, it is a really nice place. I think Bear and I will go there again this afternoon for his walk/workout if the rains don't hit us first.

hmmm that sounds interesting........ love places like that.... i been getting a few walking sticks here and there...and ones that are already smoothed out and sprayed.. with clear stuff...... then i paint something on them.
been selling them and giving out some as gifts... :)

Personally I do not believe you would know if you were out in the general population, at least not once the guy has actually transitioned. This is what makes it more difficult for us transmen and the women who do desire to date us. Guessing the only thing you could do is pay attention to subtleties.

In a queer setting, my experience is they will usually tell you.

So ... As I was thinking ... It's pretty much up to the internet and friends to get our paths to cross, knowingly ... I was hoping there was truly some other way ... So ... We may be passing eachother in the street daily and missing those special moments that could have happened with eyes meeting w/passing ... That is sad.

Well ... I then feel blessed to have the ability to be on the internet and discover those of you that like to play here too!!!

*sigh* I am soooooooooooooooo FRIGGIN bored........ i wish theyd get my truck done so i can get bk to work..... im gonna be off for several days come next week foro thanksgiving and im trying to cram as many loads as i can get in. before i go home...:praying:
my truck is an older truck.. its a 2000 peter bilt.. it runs great..
just some wear and tear on older parts.. some dont understand about why the truck is in the shop so often.
this can happen with a brand new truck as well...... i been there lol
and when you use something often and then there are bad roads.. OMG.. that knock everything around in the truck for a loop...
anyways..... just venting here a lil..... CUZ im so bored.. LOL
look im trying to laff here.......

You're right Jesse, it's not very safe for us. If it wasn't for this community I wouldn't have realized there were so many like myself. I wouldn't have found the courage to assume a male name and ID in the real world. I have some friends who are totally accepting and some I will probably lose, I guess they never really were friends to begin with. It's gratifying to get one step closer to happiness though.

Other than a gift for the office and ordering a book for my brother, I am DONE with holiday shopping! This is my first year in Arizona, so maybe this isn't normal, but the Saturday after Thanksgiving, the stores weren't crowded, nor were they crowded Monday night, so shopping was pretty easy. A friend of mine, however, started shopping at 11pm on Thanksgiving (I guess the stores opened at midnight) and she shopped until 8am! Crazy!

I feel a little homesick/nostalgic for the East Coast only because I miss shopping in Manhattan with my best friend. Otherwise, I don't miss that cold, bitter weather! brrrrrrrrr

yes... there is a 2400 watt converter.. built in
there r small inverters u can get for your car...... it plugs into a ciggy lighter.. and on other end is a plug outlit... its good for running a lap top or a blow dryer... most truck stops sell that... but i think some of the auto supplies are selling them too.

not yet....... and this is whats so frustrating..... and why i so much want to quit. im tired of hanging out in parking lots... i try to get some art stuff done. but then its hard to even get in the mood when im flusterd from not getting a load in a while.... this area i am in .. has a 15 daily average loads for My company's trucking buizz....... soo ahh why am I stil sitting here and PLUS im at #1 on top of the list of the trucks sitting here.
jobs are hard to get.well good paying ones anyways...... and i know i been saying im gonna quit this for a long time. well its time i do .. but i wont until i have something else lined up.

brrrr this morning here, i'm cold..

Good afternoon all, I hope this post finds you well :) I too would LOVE for spring to show itself a bit early, we had a week of mid 20s to low 30s last week and I absolutely hate the cold! Thankfully, that's not typical weather for Oklahoma, just a bad cold snap.

Yes I would love for it to be warmer already and spring show itself a little bit early this year that would be great...hope everyone is having a great day so far...

Also, I'm soooo over this cold weather as well. Heck I live in CA in an area where it doesn't even snow and I'm over it. I can't imagine living in the snow. Nope, no way..... LOL

it snowed here some last night but not very much, just enough to dust the snow we already have, heh.. but, it's pretty mild here today actually..

you know, the weather has changed so significantly since i was little.. i remember snow to the rooftops almost, and deep deep cold... we don't get that much anymore *not complaining though* lol..
the cold we do have and the snow we do have, is enough by gawd! lol..

Jesse, wonderin' if there is some kinda way we can bribe mother nature for an early, early spring this year! :D

Sylvie, where is it that you live and when does Spring generally arrive? Neve know about FL. It may be in the 80's and 90's next month, at least for some of it, or it may be in the 50's.

Brrrr! I do not envy you living there. It rarely gets colder than 50 in the day time here, and seldom drops below freezing at night. Most often though we are in the 60's and 70's during winter. Think it is 70 today, but rainy.

tonight it is -18 Celsius but with the windchill it's
i'm not sure what that is in fahrenheit, but.. i know tis chilllly lol..

i'm all wrapped in my snuggie tonight, with fuzzy socks on, jammies, drinkin hot cocoa now.. just to help warm me up some, eeps.. lol.. the walk home from work is why i have the chills now, even a hot shower didn't help warm me..

so i need to retire down south one day LOL or at least for the winter months heh..

It was very Brrrrrrrrrr and foggy here this morning, but by afternoon the sun was out and it had warmed up to shirt sleeve weather :)

wow i landed 65 miles from my destination and its still morning.... lol
im campin out at a truck stop..... cuz its the closes one to NYC ... and i hear its a good thing i got in here now cuz .... this one gets packed really fast on sunday's due to slim parking in the cities...
im delivering to the
American Museum of Natural history.. it looks like its by Central Park..
im hoping i can park long enoug to be able to walk around in there .. i love visiting museums.. :)

i was up really super early and well this song got me motivated ........ but im sure ya'll must of seen it in the other singles thread....

Sad to say, this front that is creating rain and tornadoes for us will create heavy snow for folks in DC and north of there, at least that's the prediction by the weather channel.
