I hate Shirley McClain, The Sound Of Music and Barbara Striesand and have lost dates over this...and was grateful.

I suck a cough drop every night. It use to more than one but I have gotten it under control. But I have to have at least one.

I have dropped 43 lbs since my first surgery..People cant even recognize me from pictures from when I first moved back to Ohio. Of course my hair was very short and silver too...

I am so close to this nightmare to being over that I feel like I am holding my breath all the time..like its a dream...or that I cant believe it until its all done and over with. The American Nightmare as opposed to the American Dream. Some day I might write a book by that title...

I make people feel better. Whether I'm making them laugh, listening when their hearts are broken, or just sharing time with them, I make people feel better.

These days there are so many forces arrayed on the side of making people feel worse and worse, I figure making them feel better is a pretty good purpose for my life. When I'm doing okay I bring sunshine and the hope of springtime to everyone; when I'm not okay I still bring love and compassion. That's who I am, what I do, and my purpose for living all rolled into one.

Maybe you can find something in your life that speaks to your purpose like that too? Maybe you've been fulfilling your life's purpose all along and just haven't recognized the value of it yet? We're alike in a lot of ways, love--I'm willing to bet this is one of them.

I am the last person in the world to hold a grudge. Sure I get mad, but by the next day, it is completely forgotten. I don't know why I am like that but I sure am glad that I am. Holding grudges only hurts the one who is holding them.

I just came here to make friends, I have no hidden agendas.

If anyone is ever offended by what I post, I would surely hope that you would come to me and tell me, preferably in private.

I have a wide circle of acquaintances, but a small circle of friends who love me so beautifully and I love them back! They say I've changed their life in some way (for the better) and I feel the same way about them.

I am a very private person but my personality is highly contagious.

I give the best I have and save the worst of me for people who really know me. I know I can talk about unvarnished stuff with them in ways that I can't do or be here online. I'd get in a lot of trouble. Trust me.

I tend to be life long friends with people who dig bringing their creative reality to the equation of mutuality. People I associate with are rarely anything like myself yet we compliment and bring out the best in each other.

I'm strangely intelligent. I often embarrass myself often by my own natural curiosity and stark openness. Sometimes I feel good about this and other times I wonder if I am cursed.

I made a quilt out of cocktail napkins once.

The worst place that I have been stung by a bee was on my tongue. I was walking and talking (go figure) and before I knew it there was something weird in my mouth that I spit out. I didn’t know if I was going to have an allergic reaction, so I basically sat down and waited to see if my tongue was going to swell and choke me to death.

When I was young I had a fascination with briefcases, until I finally got one and realized they weren't all that exciting.

My favorite vegetable is the avocado, which is technically a fruit. My favorite true vegetable is the artichoke.

Apparently I confuse people a lot. I don’t intend to, but it does happen anyway, and when I try to go backwards from confusing them, I end up confusing them even more. That’s when an “ugh” comes into play, followed by a mere “never mind”. But I do still wonder. I hate that feeling; it’s like a hunger for wonder that can’t be satisfied until the confusion is gone.

Butterscotch (the flavoring) annoys me to its fullest potential. I mean, it’s so annoying because it just lasts and lasts and lasts. Surprisingly enough there has yet to be a gum flavor consisting of buttescotch. But I’m serious when I say that it literally lasts for a long time. I don't like to chew it, and I wouldn’t want it in a mint form, but the flavor butterscotch in a hard-candy form just seems to last a long time. As I’m sucking on that stupidly golden and round thing, I’m only hoping and wishing and praying to be almost done with it (because spitting it out would simply be both a waste of money AND a waste of my time (time spent and/or time used). But I do suppose it has its purpose. A lot of people I know like it, and a lot of people use it for cooking. Therefore, maybe it’s not such a bad thing after all.

At least once a week, a woman from Brazil calls me asking to speak to her son "Thiago". She gets very angry when I explain that I don't know anyone by that name and to stop calling me.
