I love to laugh. I enjoy a good time and am told that my sense of humour, though at times brash and sometimes perverted, is one of my best qualities. Friends have told me that coupled with a good heart and pure intentions, I'm like a "dirty-minded Boy Scout". LOL!
I have been told by my ex that I have a "pure and innocent soul", that I am a genuinely good-hearted person. It's the best compliment I have ever received: for one who knows me so well, and so intimately, even after we part ways, to think well of me. I am blessed and honoured because she still believes this to be true.
From uncontrollable factors from my youth, I suffer from PTSD and other conditions that are managed by medication. Fortunately, I am required to take minimal medication and have had enough therapy to keep myself in check 99% of the time. I realize many people do not wish to take on partners with issues such as these, but honesty is a huge factor for me. I handle myself much better than many and am honest with myself about my medical conditions and needs which puts me at an advantage. If I need help / medical attention, I will ask for it or seek it myself.
I am a sucker for amusement parks and water parks. If I stagger when I get off of a roller coaster, it's a "Thumbs Up!" I'm a big kid at heart!
I enjoy cooking but hate doing dishes. I think cooking with a partner is a wonderful experience. BUT, I hate doing dishes. I also never seem to pack a dishwasher correctly either. Ideally, I'd offer to cook every meal to get out of having to do the dishes. I do them by hand so I know for a fact that they are clean.
Sushi, cheese, and coffee deserve their own food groups.
Mustard, Guacamole (though I can handle avocado in things such as tortilla soup), Oysters, and Octopus do not cross these lips. I will literally turn green and become quite ill. I've actually gotten into a playful wrestling match with a date because I refused to kiss her after she had eaten mustard on a hotdog.
I am a movie FIEND. I love movies. My favourite genres are horrors, comedies, "chick flicks" (yes, I admit it), and 80's / John Hughes' movies. While I also admit to liking the Twilight movies, I think Bella should have chosen Jacob because Edward is a pussy, and the concept of sparkly vampires is ridiculous. Alice was the best thing about the movie.
I'm a big softy when it comes to animals and kids. I can outplay most toddlers; abundant energy, I am like a movable jungle gym when it comes to children. Unfortunately, I have no children or pets of my own but hope in time to re-acquire my cat from my ex as soon as conditions allow for such.
I am a kiss-aholic and a hug-aholic. I'm a very affectionate person and am very in-tune with the emotions of those I love and come to love.
VICES: I smoke cigarettes and drink coffee, but they are the only "drugs" I use that are not prescribed by a doctor. I would like to quit smoking but am finding it harder than I have the will alone to conquer. I abide by the saying: "smoke 'em if ya got 'em".
I rarely drink, but I will drink socially if permitted.
I support the use of medicinal marijuana and feel it should be federally approved though I have not smoked pot since I experimented with it in high school and college in the late 80's / early 90's.
I am adamently against other recreational drugs.
I am disease-free and plan to stay that way.
I rarely eat sweets. I'm hypoglycemic, so I must have sugar. But I'm not crazy about chocolate or cheesecake, etc. My idea of a really sweet treat is a small slice of carrot cake.
I enjoy dancing-- slow dancing, fast dancing. Country and 80's music are my favourites. I also just enjoy "holding" someone, getting so lost in the feel of her against me that I'm oblivious to everything else but her.
I also enjoy classical music as I was a musician throughout school and was nationally recognized for my abilities at the age of 18. I prefer the Russian composers, but my favourite piece-- cliché, I know-- is Debussy's "Clair De Lune".
I also enjoy reading fiction and poetry. Favourites include Robert Frost; Edgar Allan Poe; and "the man", William Shakespeare; as well as modern writers such as Laurell K. Hamilton, Dean Koontz, Charlaine Harris, and enjoyed the "Hunger Games" trilogy by Sarah Collins.
I love big pick-up trucks. It's the Southern Boy in me; I'm originally from NC.
Eventually would love to learn to ride as well as own a motorcycle. I've always wanted a motorcycle but never got one as my ex was scared of them. In Utah moreso than other places I have heard of, drivers have even less respect or notice of bikers. What a shame! While Harleys are OMFG sexy, I want a Honda Shadow Aero for safety. My nature is to protect others, so a lower seat will give me better balance on stops to secure me and any passenger that might be on my bike. Female bikers are especially hot. While I'd love the idea of woman riding on back, holding onto me while I drive, a woman riding her own-- OR even sexier-- allowing me to hold onto her while she drives is even hotter.

My best friend and I got arrested when we were in the 8th grade for shop lifting at a drug store. We got booked at the Honolulu police station. I even have a mug shot and my finger prints on file.

IYRKM... You would know that our offer has been accepted. Now we wait for the home inspections to be completed on the 11 of September. Then the VA guy will be coming in and doing his appraisal. The only thing that we see that needs to be addressed is the deck needs to be power washed and then sealed. It is super sturdy and will be the envy of the neighborhood once were done adding our little touches. The front yard is small and could use a couple of trees maybe a purple autumn ash and a couple silver maples. Just to break the direct heat of the midday sun up. Our close date is set for October 13... Friday the 13 to be exact. I am looking forward to making our house a home. Our last place was reminiscent of a bachelor pad meets bad eighties paint techniques. Then there is all the counter space not to mention the deep cabinets with soft close drawers. I am over the moon excited about all of this.

I don't like being monitored. Was in a couple of hell-hole juvenile facilities in the 1960s where they wrote down every fucking thing you did or said. My dad would visit me on Saturdays and bring me sweets. They even wrote down which candy bar I ate first or which ones I didn't finish. I knew then that I never, ever wanted to be monitored again.

Over the last 20 years I've been lucky enough to have managers that give me projects to do and leave me alone to do them.

I work with a nosey person who tends to monitor anyone within her scope.

I like to walk with people to anywhere they want to go even when I don't need to go with them. I noticed it in college I would walk folks to their car way out in the parking lot and walk all the way back by myself.

The ladies here at work have learned this about me so when they need to go somewhere they Instant Message me that they need to go on an errand and I walk with them unless I am in conference. The destination dosen't matter to me, I enjoy the walk and the time to chat with a friend.
