Traffic this morning...Gee whiz...those people must have gotten their license at Kmart at the blue light special. I just am not a city boy, this is why I don't go to the big city very often and wouldn't work in the big city for any amount of money. This country boy needs to stay away from those no driving idiots on the roads in Charlotte

This has always been a bee in my bonnet since this is a favorite activity of my mother's.

Today I made a point of saying that I do typically do this (put away dishez). I did it yesterday in fact. Just makes me realize they don't really notice or appreciate what I do. Sigh...

SIX FOOT LEASH...............what is so hard to understand about these 3 words.

Not is it for the protection of my dog or child or even another adult, it is for the protection of you and your dog.

Reason behind that is because if your off leash dog, jumps on my 6 pound dog, Ima cut his throat and you better not open your damn mouth.

oooooooo, that little Miss attitude new asst of mine! Let me tell you, I take the time to train you, help you understand, go over it and over it again. And you, take an attitude with me, when I find you lying, not following the train of command, and being sloppy with security procedures.

I'm sending you (letting you visit) another store. Let's see how you appreciate where you are when you get back!

I'm not going to remind you again, I have the highest promote rate. It's up to you!

Btw...I feel a ' I don't like it here' action coming. So, Miss Attitude, don't worry, I'm ready for that!

Do I need to say more?

And someone :sunglass: is off gallivanting (section 2 of the definition) so I'm dealing with them by myself.

Along with two Chihuahuas.

Seriously, how many contractors does it take to deal with an insurance claim?? So far.....um.....we're up to six? And it's been at least five months since the storm that caused the issue to begin with.

I guess I did need to say more!!

After having loaded 2 trailers this morning, I had to unload and find someone else mistake, figure it out and reload both trailers.

It's always helpful when people read the labels before they put them on a skid.

It also helps save a me a lot of time, not to have to fix someone else mess.

Hearing that the Charlotte Humane Society got broken into..

Their computers and donation boxes were stolen and the thief did damage to their electrical system.

The money they have to put into repairs and replacement is the equivalent of over 30 free spay/neuter surgeries that they provide.

Its so sad that an agency that does so much good would be attacked like this. Its shameful.

If anyone is able to give a donation, they are seeking to offset the cost of repairs so their spay clinic is not affected. They also really need blankets for winter. And any food is always appreciated and needed. I wouldnt usually plug for any place but...this is just unbelievable to me. Sigh

Well as tight as it is in Cracker Barrel you'd think people would understand that EXCUSE ME means get the F***up out of the way I need to get threw. That seems to be hard to understand.

The other thing is, if you don't have enough common courtesy, or self respect not to flush the toilet, especially out in public places, then you need to go home and leave those huge TOOTSIE ROLLS in ya own damn toilet.

Network OPS is really getting under my skin. We have some of the very best talent but they cannot seem to get their shit together lately. I was hired to code software and that is what I love doing. I cannot get any coding done for taking on server issues that are not really server issues but Networking bloopers. All day, users call and tell me they cannot work and the Oracle database error turns out to be caused by a Network error but still I have to stop and research why my users cannot get to the servers. Not my software breaking, not my servers or database hosing up ... nope not my monkey, not my circus but so time-consuming to prove it. I don't like calling in trouble tickets but did today. I wanted to tell the guy at the help desk to tell Network Operations to fix their *×&#_#^#€ network. Instead, I was polite in describing error messages. The helper desk fellow did not need to hear my anger about the broken Network connections and how I have over 2 dozen users unable to work.

Worked late ...I am so glad to be home with my sweet dogs.

Tomorrow will be better. I feel pretty certain about that! :)

Tomorrow I meet with my supervisor in the midst of two big projects happening at my store and I'm still steaming about how the people at corporate hung us lowly field stores out to dry with one of these projects. I was driving home and up ahead there was a school bus with its flashers on preparing to stop...

It was a good .25 mile away, so I figured it would be on its way by the time I got there...not really.

We sat there and waited and waited and I'm like...where are the kids?? Four lanes of traffic are stopped waiting and nothing happens.

At long last, a woman comes walking down the adjacent street...not in any hurry, to collect her kids off the bus...then she is followed by her husband. Between the two of them they couldn't be on time for the bus?? Really...

and

My new neighbors downstairs. They apparently locked themselves out and came knocking on my door late last night. They scared the bejesus out of me since no one uses that door ever...I don't even know how they found it.

I have no blinds on my windows because this place is very private sooo I'm not always the most dressed either.

I jumped up so fast to grab a sweater and get to the door that I pulled a damn muscle in my leg...I guess that's why I'm griping about it now...it hurts like a such and such...

Hi, Kenna,

As you predicted in your post, going off on another member and sharing their personal business publicly is leading to a reported post and moderation. I am not sure whether I need to explain the moderation since you yourself chose to go for it even though you knew it would likely lead to moderation. And for the record, your post was NOT reported by the member who you went off on.

Whether Cinnamongrrl's original post was meant as a passive-aggressive jab at you or was simply her being pissed off and genuinely sharing it, we shall never know. However, with your posts there was no guessing. You were sharing personal information about another member's personal life publicly and with vindictiveness. You can't do this! You can report her post or message her privately or ignore it or put her on ignore, but you can't go off on her publicly relating to personal information.

From Cinnamon's post, I did not think of you, as I'm sure the vast majority of members who read it did not. From your post I learned that you and Cinnamon have been neighbors and having real life neighborhood goings-on, what those are, and that you are angry at her. That's too much information for a public forum and compromises Cinnnamon's privacy. It's also not the way to handle a post that you suspect or believe that you know is passive-aggressive.

If this doesn't make sense, I'm happy to engage with you more on this, but please PM me privately and take a cool down from this thread. In the future, if you know as you are typing that it is against the TOS/ moderation worthy, then please don't do it!

Thanks,
Jennifer

My oldest daughter was brutally attacked by her drugged out FORMER best friend...
After he knocked her down, he proceeded to kick her in the chest and fracture her rib as well as knee her in the head....

My one consolation in all this; she managed to fight back. She told me all her nails were broken and I thought she gouged him good but she punched him repeatedly to get him away from her. He has a black eye and bloodied lip, but it's still nothing compared to what I would like to do to him.

I am proud of my little girl for defending herself. Both my girls are fierce and strong and I'm glad of that.

She won't press charges and that irks me. Apparently this is his "thing". He treats his sisters and mother the same way.

My mommy adrenaline is going a little bullshit atm....as is my mother's. And she is wayyyy closer in proximity. I'd run if I were that fucker. My lil mama is TOUGH.

Someone at work pissed me off today. She actually has been pissing me off everyday lol but today she was talking about some of my documentation and wondered why I had put something into a note. Without looking at it, I told her it was an error as the template blows it into the note and if it was there, I must have forgotten to erase it. I told her to ignore it and do what she needed to do.

So because I wanted to correct it, I then asked her for the info so I could look it up myself and when I did... There was nothing in my note about what she had said was there. I asked her about it again and she said that she was wrong and apologized. I just wonder why she pulled that out of her ass in the first place. It just really rubbed me the wrong way.... grrrrrrr

Not just today but in the last few days

Respect I know it's a hard word but teach your children respect and practice it yourself.

When a boat approached the BOAT dock..get off of it, stop fishing and get your children out of the water away from the BOAT RAMP. not only is it a respect issue more importantly it is a safety issue. You are not teaching your children good things

Handicap
Although you may not see a person in a wheel chair or with a cane. Handicap can mean many different things. However again teach your children not to use the restroom or shower with this sign on it.

Quiet time
Well you got it this is a time to be quiet not a time to whoop and holler and cuss and let your kids ride bikes all threw the campground that is clearly marked no bike riding after dark. Also if you are camping beside me just and FYI I leave home so I don't have to hear the TV please turn yours down.

Actually it was yesterday. And not so pissed off as much as disappointed at a mother of a high school senior.

That poor girl, was going to a Senior Band Banquet. The mother and daughter came in together. Both of them dressed in jeans, tee's and ball caps. Stated more than once, that was all they wear, but Mother needed her daughter to wear a dress to her banquet.

They brought a dress in, which was purchased somewhere else. I thought the dress, at least, was young looking, not an old matronly looking one. I knew, right away, the daughter was very uncomfortable holding the dress, and just being in my store.

They were looking for a sweater shrug, which I found. Ok, I thought all was good. Until, mother, wants her to wear a real bra. " you, know, the kind that will give her shape, not the sports bra she has been wearing for years. " I rolled my eyes, to myself, and saw the horrified look on the daughter's face.

Found her a soft cup bra. Mother wanted to see everything on her. That poor girl, put it all on, dressing right over her jeans and tennis shoes. I asked her, how she felt... " the bra feels weird" is what she said. But I could read between the lines.

As they left, I said to the girl, I hope you win an award! She turned and said, if they hand one out for the most clumsy. "I tripped the most"

I found a smile and thought, baby butch :)

I bought a used refurbished mower at the end of last summer. I used it one time and decided I really didn't like it and that I'd sell it. Was going to put it on Craig's list this Spring but a friend called and his Mother in law needed it.

I had only used it once and parked it. I hauled it to his house yesterday. He hooked the charger to the battery. It fired right up this morning but was bellowing smoke. I never stopped bellowing smoke. So I'm of course going to give the lady back her check, cuz it's the right thing to do.

However I'm pissed at the guy that sold it to me as rebuilt. If it has a bad ring or whatever anything wrong with it then it clearly to me wasn't rebuilt. So I'm out $300. At least the older lady isn't the one out the money. She has had enough hard luck. She lost her mom 5 weeks ago and her husband 3 weeks ago.

Personally, I like getting out of the house and away from clients for a time. Its like having a break. Plus, I get some of my shopping done...its like getting paid to shop :)

I do enjoy getting away from her nagging (she's a nagger big time) but I can't do my shopping. She sends me to Central Market, which is the single most expensive grocery store we have. Items there are 2-5 times more expensive than our grocery store (she's snobby). However, when I have to go to H-E-B (our grocery store) I definitely get some grocery shopping done.

Its mostly the time she sends me. Central Market is ALWAYS jam packed at the time she sends me, and the way they have the aisles set up it's not consumer friendly. Not to mention the driving around just to find any parking space.

I think it was mostly the fact the I had already been 5 times that week, PLUS she even pays someone to do her grocery shopping, and that person did the shopping on Monday.

Even more so, apparently the morning care giver cannot cook and on Mondays and Fridays I'm off so the morning person works her shift and mine (12 hours). So because she cannot cook, I'm left cooking not only the day that i'm there's food (which on sat and sun is a 12 hour shift) but the next days food because I wont be there.

so I had bought th e fish... why couldn't I have gotten it the day before, or better yet, why couldn't the day person for today gone and got it???

all she had me do to it was quirt lemon and put parsley on it.. that's it... you're telling me the day person couldn't have done that?!?!?!?!

it gets really frustrating that I do double work for other peoples inabilities.

There were only a handful of people in the theatre for Age of Adaline today and one woman had the audacity to check her voicemail at the maximum volume level and didn't understand why I would turn in my seat and ask, "Seriously?"

The movie had already started at that point.

Thankfully, so put it away after that but c'mon now. Not only do they TELL you onscreen, more than once, to silence your cell and not to text but it's common sense and common courtesy, which that lady obviously lacked.

There was really no need to call someone a goddamned thug just for doing their job and then proceed to lecture them on the all the ways their cartel...ahem, I mean "company" exploits people for greedy and unchecked financial gain.

Even if said company is - and they are - guilty of grossly overcharging for something that is a human right and therefore not only should be accessible and free of charge to all, but also places an unfair financial burden on those of less means, there are more productive ways of dealing with your outrage, lol.

(You know, even if they can charge whatever they want because they are a totally illegal MONOPOLY and the only viable alternatives are completely financially out of reach to a person even of average or slightly above average income - and even if said monopoly is run by the company (who is also the city government) who also controls the ZONING and PERMITS and therefore can restrict any alternatives in order to protect their CONFLICT OF INTEREST).

So even if I wasn't "technically" incorrect, I still behaved like a pedantic, condescending, sanctimonious ass today. And I can do better than that. But, I didn't yell; I never even raised my voice!

So that's something, right?

It would be swell if my boss could actually write an email where I didn't have to ask 3 other people to try to interpret what he is asking. It would also be great if he could interpret my own email to him that was written in very plain and simple English.

I swear it is like communicating with an alien sometimes. It's even worse when we are face-to-face. We mostly just stand there blankly staring at each other trying to figure out what the hell the other just said.

I don’t know if your organization would be open to this, but at my job we took some assessments that helped us communicate better. Didn’t solve all the problems, but it made working with each other easier. We have the exact problem you describe: we sometimes feel like we're speaking with aliens when communicating with teammates. And these are people who thoroughly understand the English language—written and spoken.

Every member on our team at work took a DiSC Profile (http://www.disctests.com/what-is-disc/) assessment to understand each other’s style of communication. This assessment is usually used in leadership development, but we took the test to be able to better communicate with each other.

Our team took the assessment and put the results of each person on a large board, posted it where everyone has access to it, and we consult it when necessary. We ask that new members take the test, too.

I think it’s only used as a last resort after you’re frustrated with someone (and we sometimes chuckle when we see someone consulting the chart because we know they’re probably frustrated or maybe even pissed off). But, on the whole it helps. For instance, I know who appreciates my direct way of communicating and I know when I need to have my filters in high gear. I also know and understand that someone who’s analytical may communicate differently than me.

It, or something similar, may be worth checking out if your company has a budget for training. It won’t solve everything and not even most things, but it could be helpful.

Good luck, CherryWine.

Orema, it's funny that you mention the DISC assessment. After some very unprofessional behavior by a supervisor toward a member of the "the powers that be," our entire team was required to take a communications course that included the DISC assessment.

It has probably been about 7 or 8 years since the course, but oddly enough I remember that my boss and I scored the exact same (I couldn't remember what I scored, so I just took it again online and got CDS). Considering we scored the same, you would think that he and I would be able to communicate a little more effectively with one another. However, most everyone (there are 11 of us) in the office has complained about having to decode his emails and having to ask him to clarify himself repeatedly.

That is a fantastic idea about posting everyone's results on a board where we could easily access them when need be. I may actually take this suggestion to our next staff meeting. We have some new members who have joined the team since we last took the assessment, so it would be helpful to understand their style of communication and for them to understand ours.

Many thanks for the great advice, Orema!

I really HATE when my agency books my clients sooo close together that I only have time to drive from one to the other....

I ended up working 9-530 with no break at all except for the 25 min drive between clients. I'm so glad I thought to make a sandwich. However, my last client took an hour longer than scheduled and I did not make it to the bank. Which means, I have no money and I'm driving on fumes as it is. I'm too tired to make anything substantial for dinner so I'm having tater tots.

I'm actually too tired to be too vehement about any of this. I want a shower and my fucking jammies..stat.

Ohhh yes and being late at the client's meant driving home in 5 o'clock traffic in a torrential down pour. Yay.fucking.me. Time for a beer by golly...

AND

I totally forgot that today was one of two days a MONTH that I work near a dunkins and I already got coffee and it'll be 2 weeks now before I'm back out there...sigh...the universe hates me. At least I didn't put laundry out before I left for work.....yippeee

Well....

He finally came and got some of his things out of his old room and I wanted to test the theory. I locked BOTH doors and he got in just fine. I asked his girlfriend about it and she said the back door wasn't latched all the way....ohhh reallyyyy.

SO they came back a second day for more stuff....and I DOUBLE checked the door and made sure it was latched. They STILL made it in. Today, I came home and my TV was on a channel I never use....

well....

I've had a certain cell phone provider forever...and I've found their customer service severely lacking so I decided to look elsewhere.

My friend suggested a provider called Cricket so I googled and sure enough they are in Asheville. Yesterday I went after work to Tunnel Rd to find the place and drove up and down, to and fro and never found it. Went home and found out it was actually SOUTH Tunnel Rd...doh..

Sooo....

Today after work I went up and down SOUTH Tunnel Rd...to and fro....Never saw it. It occurred to me they may be at the mall. I went in and checked their map. No Cricket. Asked a cashier at Sears. She said they had a kiosk in Best Buy down by Penneys. Drove down there (since my poodle was with me) ask at Penneys where the Best Buy was. She tells me Best Buy is the next Mall down the road. :|

In my car again to look for Best Buy. The phone person is busy but I saw no Cricket signs anyway.....sooo I ask at customer service...they say they don't have a Cricket kiosk...but there is a small Best Buy mobile...where? At.the.MALL...

BACK in my car finally find the kiosk in the mall...I'm waiting in line..both the employees are busy. A woman randomly walks in and one of the guys leaves his customer to help her. :| I had been waiting there like 10 minutes...never.said.a.word. Apparently I look like a less viable customer...

They ALSO had no information about Cricket ANYWAY so I up and took my unviable ass out of there. 2 hours of my life. Wasted....

I've been waiting for 2 weeks for my landlord to put in an overhead light in my bedroom....

He planned it and never showed several times. Each time he SAID he was going to be here to do it I prepared my bed by covering it in the big plastic bag that I got my mattress in....

so....

He comes by today. Unannounced, unexpected and finally puts the light in. He had told me not to worry about my bed, that there would be no mess.

I found small pieces of debris here and there...no big deal...but THEN I found what looks like bbq sauce on the edge of my coverlet. It is huge. I'm going to have to take it to the laundromat and it will have to visit the dryer...which I hate using....

Sigh (w)

My boss announced today that we would begin coming in at 6 am starting Monday. This crew has worked 5-2 for the last 3 years. I have been starting work at 5 am since 1994.

I know it sounds silly that this pisses me off, but that one hour makes a big difference in what time we actually get off. We are never guaranteed to get off at 2pm. If we work 9 hours and get off at 3 we are stuck in school traffic for 30 minutes of stop and go traffic before we get to the crossroads. If we get off at 4 we get tangled up in the other industrial plants traffic, which isn't as bad as the school traffic. If we work until 5 well everyone knows about 5 oclock traffic. And here is the kicker, if we have to work 12 hours and work 6 am to 6 pm, that sucks all the way around. In winter you go to work in the dark and go home in the dark. In summer ya don't get home until 7 pm and there isn't much time for doing outside stuff mowing gardening canning etc before it is time to eat dinner, shower and go to bed.

I don't know it just messes up my "norm" for the past 21 yrs. I don't do well with change, unless it is change for the better and there is no reason given for this change. OK I'm done ranting now.

Nothing so far but at not yet 9pm on the West Coast, with another 3 whole hours left that's still plenty of time for Miss Thinks She's All That And A Bag Of Chips to come up with something, work her "magic" if she chooses to/thinks to/cares to. I'm going to go and listen to I Hope You Die by Bloodhound Gang because even though I don't really wish her dead or any harm to come to her or anyone as described in the song, nonetheless it's about the only thing that helps to lighten my load, cheer me up when thinking back I reflect on all the crazy making stunts she's pulled over the years.

Comcast. It seems like every time I talk to them they say all the right things, "oh I'm so sorry, let me fix that" and "thank you for your patience, I'll credit your account". And yet they never actually fix or credit everything.

I've had a tech at my house 4 times. I did self-install. And I've lost track of how many times I've called. And yet I still have a $130 bill for 4 days of service.

I was walking my dog before bed, about 10:30 PM, and had one of my neighbors came outside just to yell at me to make sure I pick up my dog's poop. When I said I always do, she literally laughed at me and then went inside and turned out her lights.

What gives her the right to accuse me of not picking up my dog's poop? And then to laugh at me when I said I do?

I know its not worth my energy, but I am really upset right now. So far since moving into my place, I have been told my dog barks all the time, yet I have no proof. And when I spoke to the woman who everyone keeps telling me is complaining, she said it wasn't my dog she had a problem with. Now I have another person yell at me when I have literally done nothing wrong.

I was told what a nice neighborhood this is when I moved in. Yet I feel completely unwelcome. And I am tired of me and my dog getting blamed for things we didn't even do.

I told her what I COULD do and if that's not good enough I can quit. Sooner than later. Yeah I'm gonna give up a ft job with benefits for you. To give me what little hours your friends can't cover... As if.

Well actually it was yesterday. I found out my toxic job is cutting our hours back!:seeingstars: Now I know I complain about the stress of the job, but we just bought a house last year and I really can't afford for my paychecks to all of a sudden be $350 LESS!!!!:seeingstars: I wanted to pay off some bills first, then cut back my hours to have more time home to care for my spouse. I figured in maybe another two years??? Oh well, I guess I just have to look at this as a blessing in disguise. My boss at the dog kennel says she will give me as many hours as she can, and she has a lot of contacts so maybe she can hook me up with a cleaning job when the kennel hours are slow? I'm just gonna enjoy working less at the stressful job and enjoy doing what makes me happy.:praying: :praying:

Went to a huge neighborhood yard sale. What pisses me off is the streets are very narrow and they are crowded with cars and trucks. People don't have any consideration for others. They park half in the road instead of pulling over as far as possible then the next idiot will park on the other side of the road right across from that car and unless you are in a compact car you can't get threw.

I had to remind her that if I WANTED to be doing her dressing changes, I would have gone to school for that, so I could make what she makes. However, I'm perfectly content making HALF of what she makes, so I'm not going to be doing her work. Plus I have more than enough of my own, especially since we worked short all night! PLUS, she is one of those people who smiles in your face and sticks a big machete in your back at the same time!!!! She had the nerve to ask me how can I be a cna for 20+ years and not be able to change the dressings??!! I said oh honey I most certainly know HOW to do it, but am I going to do it? I already did the dry run on the original facility
This sucks. Plus this new place got a really shitty rating. And...besides that I really wanted to go to previously assigned facility. They are part of the chain I work for and I wanted to see if I'd like it for a transfer. Its closer to where I live.

They use to use chicken poop here years ago but we don't have near as many poultry farms as we use to. No pig farms that I know of in this county. They use treated human waste. It doesn't smell this morning but if it rains it will. One of the not so joyful things about country living

I went in and the dude was in his backroom with no customers in sight. I told him I wanted a haircut. He asked me what kind. I said flat top. He told, I don't cut "ladies" hair. I said it's the same cut and I always go to a barbershop. He said I have been cutting hair for 60 years and I don't cut "ladies" hair.

I was so pissed! I didn't even bother to look for another barbershop or finish my other errands. I just drove home. :annoyed:

There is a new woman at work ...been here about 4 to 6 weeks. She has assigned herself the task of policing the fridge for out-dated food, the doors to ensure they are locked and we can only enter at keycard entrances, etc. I recognize this woman has a severe compulsion, I feel for her in a way because she "has to" do this. The other side of me became infuriated at her today. I was heading out at lunch and I heard her somewhere behind me sort of quietly say my name. I kept walking and ignored her until the 3rd time. I turned around, looked at her and very loudly in an irritated voice said, "yes." She approached me and in an almost whispery voice asked if I intended to throw away the expired salad dressing in the fridge. In same previous plus louder and stronger tone told her I would check it after lunch. I did and the bottle of Thousand Island was three days past expiration date. I threw it out.

About a week ago, I went outside to make a personal phone call. I exited a non-keycard door and had "tricked" it into letting me back in ... as opposed to having to walk a distance to enter a keyed door. Several of us do this. I realized she locked it right behind me. A few minutes later when I came back in, she was still in close vicinity. In passing, I jokingly asked her if policing our doors was a job requirement specified as her duty when she interviewed - thinking she would take the hint.

After my harshness to her before lunch, I do hope she will not give in to this urge to police me again ... it won't be pretty!!!

Stopped by Hibachi Grill after a long day with appointments. Got there at 3:35 was charged for the "dinner" buffet. I was not happy about this. Sooo when I went up to pay I ask the manager what time does the supper buffet start. His reply, supper? What's supper? SMH. I said ok dinner what time does your dinner buffet start? He said, 3:30 some places are 4 but all buffets are 3:30. I said really? Ok well that extra $3 per person is suppose to be because there is seafood on the buffet and the grill right? He said yes. I said the buffet didn't have any seafood on it that isn't on it before 3:30. He said, sorry.....chiching and handed me my receipt to sign. Then ask if I wanted a tip on my card. I said you already have a $3 tip.

So guess I will have to learn to make my own coconut chicken, cuz I'm done with Hibachi Grill. I don't mind paying for supper at supper time, but 3:30 is not supper time anywhere!

Trivial shit attack at work. A little illiterate ill-mannered bitch lets her temper get the best of her in absolutely inappropriate manner for the office environment. Raised voices, temper tantrums, etc.

The best things a seasoned office ninja can do in such situation is stay calm and cold, motionless and reactionless, no merit given to the neurotic performances.

Note to the junior hysteria-bell :

Nothing lasts forever honey bee, you might be fucking the big boss today (thus the sudden feeling of entitlement and power might get into your head). However, he fucked someone else yesterday, and he'll fuck the next one tomorrow... I'll sit here crunching my numbers you brain cannot possible process and watch you and a dozen more like you come and go...

Sure I can sharpen my knife, but I really dislike the whole girl on girl hate in the business... I wish you had a brain, so I could mentor you, give you a tip or two, provide a helping hand so maybe some day you could sit here where I am now...

Never build a tower...for a tower in business will be your entrapment... Never alienate people around you... Don't be fooled, putting all your eggs in one basket may be a quick way to short term success but an even more certain option for hanging oneself in the long run. Your superiors and your subordinate matter equally, subordinates may even matter more at certain times, since they are the ones you delegate to and you want to keep them happy and loyal, otherwise they will be quick to stab you first. Build alleys not enemies... Get smart and strategic and remember your biggest assets should be your work skills, if you choose to continue to suck dicks on to of that more power to you... but dicks alone won't get you far...trust me I'm a hard core lesbian and I still have a widow office!

Orlando man accused of throwing flamingo Pinky to her death at Busch Gardens

Pinky, a Chilean flamingo, had to be euthanized because her injuries were so severe, according to Busch Gardens officials.

"Pinky was a beloved member of the Busch Gardens Tampa Bay family and made many appearances on behalf of the park's conservation and education efforts," a park statement said. "She will be sorely missed."

Joseph Anthony Corrao, 45, was visiting Busch Gardens with family around 6:45 p.m. Witnesses told police they saw him reach into the flamingo pen at the Jambo Junction animal viewing area, pick the bird up and throw it to the ground.

Someone — the name was redacted from a police report — yelled for him to put the bird down.

"According to witnesses, he threw the bird to the ground with such force that the bird's foot was nearly severed," the report said.

And the pple who mind their own business, keep to themselves, and just come in and do their job and go home are always being picked on! How messed up is that?!?!?!

Donald Trump's potential Supreme Court judge pick thinks gay people should be jailed for having sex

One of Donald Trump’s prospective picks for the Supreme Court believes gay people should be prosecuted for having sex because they are not protected by the constitution.

While serving as Alabama’s Attorney General in 2003, William H Pryor Jr wrote a legal brief in defence of a Texan law – later struck down by the Supreme Court – which criminalised consensual gay sex.

He compared it to “polygamy, incest, paedophilia, prostitution, and adultery” and said the Alabama court had “never recognised a fundamental right to engage in sexual activity outside of monogamous heterosexual marriage, let alone to engage in homosexual sodomy”.

“Such a right would be antithetical to the ‘traditional relation of the family’ that is as old and as fundamental as our entire civilisation”, he added.

I think that there were LGBTQ people that somehow, some kind of way, thought Trump "wouldn't be that bad".

I don't know how they could possibly think this if they even listened to him for 5 minutes but somehow they did.

Now, we are all fucked.

It not only pisses me off, it infuriates me.

This is only day 4 people.

I don't even pray for him to get impeached because who would be next in line?

Fishermen Filmed Themselves Beating a Baby Seal and Posted it on Facebook

This article will have no visuals, because the images are too disturbing to show.

A viral video posted to Facebook earlier this week shows three fisherman in Yarmouth County, Canada, who have a very young white seal pup in their boat — likely only a few days old.

Very young seal pups have white coats, and when they do, it is illegal to kill them. But these fishermen were apparently unfazed by this regulation.

"They're sort of taunting it, teasing it, poking it in the face with a fishing buoy," Sheryl Fink, director of Canadian wildlife campaigns for the International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW), told The Dodo. "You can see one man kicking it in the head with his rubber boot and just sort of tormenting this young, terrified animal." You can also hear laughter.

The pup in the video is obviously distressed and trying to escape, Fink observed. "It's not too graphic but it is disturbing," Fink said. "It's complete disrespect for a very terrified young animal."

Even though the killing doesn't happen on camera, the Department of Fisheries and Oceans (DFO) reports that the seal pup died. In the video, you can hear one man say, "OK, let's kill it."

Not really pissed off but been out of sorts for a while lately ... I have asked for meetings with my manager and supervisor ... yesterday my supervisor took privilege, as some men do, derailed the topic, talked at great length about what he wanted to talk about which was him, his accomplishments. Plus, when I asked him direct questions, he lied to me twice sitting right there in front of our manager. I think he has no conscience. I won't invite him to any more meetings. Someone needs to kick his backside. It won't be me. I would not sacrifice my job for such a low life. I am still getting more concrete documentation together for next meeting. I do not really wish for anyone to be hurt, I only want fair treatment.

As I awaken this noon, my Dom is in the process of yelling at the landlord who

isn't living up to HIS lease agreements! Hasn't cleared off the handicap ramp

of snow, the tenants had to clean/shovel both sets of stairs (not in the lease),

and today sewage backed up into our toilet and shower! Called this dipshit

landlord to report/fix the problem, but only got voicemail. Lord knows when/if

he would call us back. My Dom, being the "assertive" individual that She is

then called Dept. of Public Works to see if work was being done in the area.

They responded promptly as there had been flooding in the area, flushed the

lines. The dipshit called back after the flushing and began yelling loudly at

Her over the phone so loud that I could here it across the room without the

phone being on speaker. She does not intimidate easily, but was pacing all

over the room calling a lawyer then trying to get a restraining order. He had

Her angrier than I had seen Her in years! He had given us a verbal eviction

notice in the process, and She does NOT like it when anyone threatens Her

family's safety and security. That's a pet peeve of Her's.

That's what made me angry today...all in my first 2 hours being awake!

My local Walmart, is very neat and clean. Belive me, I've seen some trashy stores. I actually like going in there for basic things, like cat litter.
I think I mentioned before, during a quick stop, I was heading in to pick up just the cat litter. I bypassed the shopping cart, went to the back of the store. Why are the heavy things in the back??? Anyway, I got them, and then walked towards the front to check out. Those things are heavy! I vowed never to do that again.

Anyways, this Walmart recently went thru a remodel. They have these friendly signs all thru the parking lot, leading to the new customer pick up area. So, today, I ordered two bigger sized buckets. Easy peasy, I'll just drive thru and have them put it in my trunk.

Blaze got the notification that my order was ready and went to pick them up for me. Well, that new pick up area is just for grocery pick up. He still had to go in and pick them up in the back of the store. What? That's not what I expected !

Next time, I'll pay to have them delivered , and they can carry it up the stairs!!

In past years they have warned about various strains reaking havoc each flu season but this year nothing, well nothing that I saw! After reading so many posts here, and two first hand experiences with walking pneumonia this season myself (Nov & Apr) I'm wondering why no warning from them?

In fact during my last bout, a doctor came right out and said the flu shot did little to prevent illness this season :cough:

He is having his lawyers look into it.

Washington Post did a story today with answers to that (yes, he kind of could do it, pardon himself and everyone else but only related to deeds done in WA, DC) and also if he could fire the special counsel (yes, he could do it) but I wasn't up to posting the whole article because it was long and there are variables.
