It's a long list on the agenda for this Saturday!
It's time to purge junk that has accumulated in the garage, gather stuff from Mary's donate pile to drop off later at Goodwill, and shred some documents so they don't fall into the wrong hands, (identity thief).
After these tasks are completed it's off to the bank, post office, (yes, I'm mailing another care pkg out) and grocery stores.

Sounds like a great time. Enjoy yourself! I found myself at an art festival today and it was awesome as well.

- find my orange sandals
- make a list of all the rides I want to ride at Walt Disney World (two weeks!)
- make red beans and rice

plus I have added about 5 more things to the list, which I don't even have with me right now, which isn't helping any of them get done.

I mailed my craft project out, which was the main agenda. I also returned some things, picked up a new bag of prescription cat food, grabbed a few grocery items and bought a few amazing things.
I got the cats a new cat tree for the holidays. It's early but they won't see it until December so it's all good. It's HUUUUGE and super tall and has 4 levels and 3 beds built in large enough for Loki to stretch out (he hangs over his built in bed because the current tree is Gracie sized and he's 3 times bigger than her) plus a scratching post, all on the same tree and it was reasonably priced.
The Universe also provided me with the opportunity to purchase a medium sized shelving metal shelving unit with flower cut outs at each level on each side. It's unique and quite lovely. I'm not sure where it will land but I simply could not pass it up.
I picked a couple more small items for the home and some watermelon cotton candy but that's it, basically.

Mainly figuring out how to waste time. I simply cannot get motivated to do anything today, and the fact is, I don't really have to. I don't have anything due for awhile, and my boss is out of town for the rest of this week.
I spent an hour this morning shopping for clothes online, and I got some great deals on sweaters! That took an hour. I played a word game for awhile and did the NYT mini crossword puzzle. That took another hour.
When I go home later, I will do laundry (which has been on my agenda for _days_ and I keep ignoring it), and pack for my vaycay next week. Also, I will probably end up watching another episode of _Homeland_, which I am totally hooked on.
I feel kind of guilty about killing all this time, but - as I said - I don't have anything due right away. Honestly, I don't know what I'm going to do with the rest of this week.

Gee, would be nice to have a chill day every once in a while. I spent the day have CAT scans of my head with and without contrast and a boatload of bloodwork. Doc wants to figure out why I'm falling two or three times a day, losing track during conversations and forgetting words that are needed in sentences. It's like, I am speaking with someone then lose the word needed next. Failing a fill in the blank verbal (and written) test.
Doc and I spoke of the two most likely causes, neither of which is anything I'm interested in having. Have ignored these symptoms for over a year, maybe I should keep ignorance as bliss by avoiding the follow-up visit.

First I went out and attempted to find the septic cover (FAIL) as they were coming today.....hey I will count that as some sort of exercise (shoveling a hole for nothing). Then we spent some time dealing with the contractors who are remodeling the mother-in-law apartment that is attached to our home. Later a Windows World rep. showed up to give us an estimate and God love this guy (a recently hired veteran).....why would you buy our windows when you already have contractors here? Lastly, the farrier showed up to trim the hooves of our barefoot horses and that was a bit of a catch (can I say CARROTS) and release program. Oh and he did our one and only sheep's hooves which was a BIG 20 minute wrestling match. Wrote out a few costly checks for other work and am waiting for one more contractor to show up, as they now have plastic septic cover build ups/sleeves you can drop in to avoid digging holes for nothing and make a pump out pretty darn simple.

Also, picking out holiday cards for the office to send to our constituents which sounds like the most fun and the first thing I will probably do.
After work, stopping by the grocery store to get the things I forgot to get when I went grocery shopping this weekend.
Possibly, starting some of the cooking for Thanksgiving. I'll have to look at my menu and see what can be done this early. I think I could make the cornbread and biscuits for the dressing.

- Repeat step 2 until the most important thing gets done. Then move on to the 2nd most important thing OR the next thing I can bring myself to do now and put off the 2nd most important thing on the list.
- Somehow make it to 1:30pm.

I've pretty much done everything for today except my bedtime prep for me and the fur babies. I worked, I grabbed a couple groceries since I'm not leaving the house tomorrow and I put Ella back in the garage so she won't get buried or frozen solid.
Now, tomorrow I plan on watching it snow and not have to do a damn thing about it. How's that for a Calgon moment?

Well, I did something about it, but I haven't gone outside. I love having a coworker that will humor me so I know what's going on a work but am still warm and toasty in my jammies at home.
I wanted to wake up late and I did but I didn't get to bed until 3am, so I don't think that counts.
Still to go, do holiday cards, work on a craft project and tidy up the place.

- Laundry
- remove my mattress topper and somehow get it into a contractor's trash bag at the street (I can't decide if it would be easier to move it to the street and then put it in the bag, or put it in the bag and then move it to the street.)
- order a new memory foam mattress topper
- kitty boxes
- make up the bed with fresh sheets and a new cushioned mattress pad, which I don't think is going to be satisfactory by itself - hence, the new memory foam mattress topper
- manicure
- select five outfits for this week, which will involve some ironing

This evening then gather things I've stashing away for a "care package" and box them up to get out in Monday's mail.
mission accomplished!

Nope, closed until April 1.
It's raining so those are my two favorite things to do outside the house when it's wet and damp. That leaves chores so I'll be doing a load of laundry, maybe a load of dishes, rearranging some stuff and putting stuff aside to donate. And Netflix. Lots of Netflix.

I saw in the news that Universal is going to release some of its new release movies to online streaming right away. It's going to be like $20 (but hey, if you go to the movies, you spend that much anyway). With others of their movies, they are going to release them to streaming 48 hours after they come out of the theatres.
Also, Disney is releasing _Frozen 2_ on Disney+ in the very near future, if they haven't already done so.
I know it's not the same as going to the movies, but if there was something you really wanted to see, it might ease the pain a bit.

I think I saw Frozen 2 on Redbox too. That's pretty neat. I just liked going to a dark theatre and hiding away for a couple hours. Plus, it's only $5 on Tuesdays.
I'll keep my eyes open about Universal. That sounds promising.

Cancelling our subscription to Wall Street Journal, which has had me on hold FOREVER. And they won't let you cancel online, even though the recording on the phone keeps telling me that it will be faster and easier to do things on my account online. Since I'm on hold, I'll just tell you that the one guy in our office who read it is now gone, and it's an expensive subscrition ($38.99/month for digital-only access!)
Looking some stuff up and filling in a spreadsheet.
Arguing/"negotiating" with the Marriott across the street about how much lower a rate we should get than the rack rate.
Looking at menus and planning meals for a meeting in June which may very well be canceled/postponed.
So much of what I'm doing at work now feels just useless, because it's in preparation for events that will probably not take place. I have a lot of events on hold.
Go Home! (Oh wait, no, I'm already at home. "Working from home."
Lunch, which is going to be leftover pork/chicken/veggie fried rice.
Nap!
Clean the hallway bathroom.
One or two loads of laundry (which I suppose I could really be doing right now).
Play with the kitty two or three times. She swats at my pants leg every time I go upstairs like she's ready to play, but then she just lies there like a slug and wants pets. She needs some stimulation with the laser pointer, I'm thinking.
Walk back and forth to the end of my driveway to get in some exercise/steps.
Make dinner. (I should defrost something for that now).
Watch "The Rookie".

I don't know what's going on with the liquor stores. You can't buy liquor in the grocery stores in this state.

I made it through our Monday morning staff meeting online. One person has two little babies, and you can always hear them in the background - annoying as hell when you're trying to hear everybody over a crappy internet connection. I also set up some conference calls. Now I'm going to try to move my printer/copier/scanner from my home office to the kitchen.
(Why am I not just working in my home office, you ask? Because it has become the dumping ground for all things obsolete, and it would take weeks to clean it out.)
Hopefully the printer will work. I think I replaced the ink not long ago.
Then, I guess it's back to Netflix and :wine:.

Going online to search for some software for my printer/scanner/copier.
Then it will shortly be time for :wine: and Netflix, and planning something to do for dinner. Been cleaning the yards. Just came in and ate.
About to put on my snake boots, strap a pistol on my hip, grap the blower and contractor waste bags then wade deep into woods. The more leaves, brush and limbs I bag/burn ... pushing it back further away from my yards, the less devil's handpuppets. (snakes) I dug up 3 shrubs that were blooming pink yesterday. Actually, dug around them and pulled them up with tow straps attached to truck. Plan to pull out 3 logs this afternoon. I want to extend my front yard about 40 more feet and eventually buy sod, lay out new grass. First, the ground must be totally scraped and cleared. That will still leave plenty of woods in the front.

Shopping online. I'm dreading a repeat of last night however this time it shouldn't be as bad since I'm already signed up, know how navigate the site, and there won't be the same other learning curve frustrations I faced before.
Also this time if something is out of stock I'm not going to waste time looking for the next best thing affordable solution. I've discovered when I do generally all that's left are the spendy items or store brands items nobody wants.
Some store brand items are great, others aren't. Seems others agree as those I don't like are the items I easily, in great abundance, find left. Or they're not bad but for what ever reason I can get my preferred brands for the same or sometimes even less money.
Well tonight I'm shopping for non-food items and not hand sanitizer, bath tissue, baby wipes, paper towels or face masks so it should be a lot easier. I am going to do a quick check to see if the items I was shorted last time are back in stock, but not dwell on it.
As long as there's water, a heat source and a roof over my head I could live on beans, rice, coconut oil, canned tuna in lieu of sardines, and multi- vitamins for quite a long time, but I don't want to if I don't have to. I'd probably get scurvy or something but I'd live.
The rest of us, I don't know, there are 14 adults, 3 small children, 1 infant, 4 dogs and 3 cats in our buying circle. And most of them they don't have any kind of practice at all when it comes to knowing how to weather any storm, let alone what it is to endure true suffering.
I'm so glad I can shop online. After this self quarantine if I have to shop in store I'm going to get behind the person with the largest cart full of loot piled sky high I can find. So even if I do look like a hoarder at least I won't look like the worst one in the place.

I spent over an hour last night on the Kroger website, loading up my shopping cart. When I got done, I couldn't get a pickup time at any store in the area. They go out for three days, and they were all "no available pickup times". I thought about trying again at midnight, but - no.

Walmart, at least in our area, is set up differently. When you go to the site before you can even begin shopping you're asked if you want to schedule a delivery or a pick up time for today or tomorrow. Say you choose delivery but there are no time slots left you can then check to see if maybe you can get a pick up time scheduled or vice versa. You don't have to shop first and then hope for a cart, delivery time. It's a pain but easy to keep checking back to get a delivery/pick up time before you can order than do all your shopping only to find out you can't get the order. On Walmart I didn't get everything I ordered but about 3/4 came in. If there isn't a Walmart nearby maybe there's a different chain store close that has their online food and grocery shopping set up that way. I've also had good luck buying non-perishables off Amazon but many sellers are now saying fulfillment in 1-3 months so really have to watch for that if it's something needed ta now and often you have to buy in bulk.
