Happy Sunday, everyone!

Unfortunately, it is not such an overeasy morning here. I am worried about the oncoming storm, and even though Irma isn't likely to be as bad by the time it gets to Atlanta, we're still expecting high winds and flash flooding. All I have done this morning is listen to the news while I ate breakfast. Oh, and I also helped out a coworker - she texted me On The Weekend!, but I understand - sort of. She couldn't manage to get her boarding pass sent to her phone, and her flight does leave this afternoon. It only took a few minutes to help her, but really! She could have just gotten it at the airport instead.

Yesterday I trimmed back shrubbery and dug out a ditch (I mean I just dug out the crap in the bottom of a ditch that already existed - not that I dug a new ditch) to make sure the rain will drain away from my back door. So I don't have any outdoor chores to do today, and in fact, the weather right now is beautiful.

I'm going to make some time to sit out on the porch swing and enjoy the nice weather. I will make an attempt to calm my mind, and hopefully be able to meditate for awhile. I don't have to cook today, although I might bake some brownies - they will be nice to have if the electricity goes out. I'm going to do laundry, so the whole house will smell like clean clothes later.

Thanks for listening to my worried dithering. I will have as overeasy a Sunday as I can manage. I hope you all do too.

We woke too early and now DC's on the sofa, snoring softly whist the telly tells us how glass countertops are made. I'm playing on here and deciding what I'll have for breakie. I work but that's later and everything's easy and chill now that the kitty has gotten his morning rounds done.

I don't have much planned today other than enjoying a new lesbian romance novel (which is very good!) And to also place a call to my mom today....see how she's doing. She's supposed to retire for the 3rd time, she's 78 years old, but she's mentally and physically sharp, so when she retires at the end of October, I know she's going to give all her energy and time and financial resources to expanding her antique business. Really happy my mom can fully retire from her life long vocation as an nurse and do something else in life! :bouquet:

Happy Sunday everyone!

We ran around so much yesterday, that we are staying in today to get the trailer in tip top shape.

It feels strange to not jump in the truck and go take care of the house, but there is so much to do here that I won't miss the extra chores.

Gooday you all,I read paper while drinking my iced coffee,then ran to the store so i could cook some taco soup.Today we had rain,which is the first real rain in 2 1/2 months. Then it was football time and Seahawks won! Now emails a couple quick chores.

HAPPY SUNDAY FOLKS!!!!! One day of double shifts done, and today's double shifting to go, then I'm home free come 7 am tomorrow!!!:koolaid::koolaid: Hope everybody has a good week ahead. I'm hoping for good weather so I can scrub down the wheelchair ramp and front porch this week and hopefully get some water sealer on there. But the sealer may have to wait until the following week, as it takes 2 days to fully dry and I need to get my spouse down the ramp to doctor appts. this week. We shall see......

The morning was lazy as can be. Coffee was good. I made cinnamon pancakes to fill him up, cause he has to work. He got the games last week, I get them this week!

Good Morning all. Sitting here reading sunday paper and sipping on iced mocha.Low key day for me i,m a little sore from helping my tenant unload uhaul yesterday.So perfect day to chill and watch some football.

I slept in today....and I just made a big cup of steaming hot cocoa, and listening to birdsong too....the trees are so incredibly beautiful, which I guess could be attributed to the long months of record heat waves we've had, out in the Pacific Northwest. However, a massive cold front is moving in and we've had intermittent rainfall, which is so welcome right now.

I finished Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe, late Friday night. Yesterday I broke into a new book, White Palace, and I hope to have a reading fest in bed today and finish it by late tonight! :)

October is getting off to an lovely start and I plan to savor every single day ahead! :stillheart:

Good morning lovely peeps!

I'm bad today...while Kasey is gone to Church with Hal I stayed home to clean. We are not dirty people, but holy heck everything gets messy fast in a tiny space.:seeingstars:

The rest of the day isn't going to be much better, I have to go to the laundromat (shudder), and grocery store.

So tonight when we take our coffee outside to sit and gaze at the stars, I will have earned every relaxing moment.

It had all the makings of a good day when I got up. Cool outside, no humidity

Went back this morning where I left off last night. Yesterday I cleared the front from leaves and pine straw, limbs and made it down about 3/4 of 150 drive way.

I let the dogs join me without there leashes. I was working and keeping an eye on the dogs. Kevin and Jennifer know not to go past the line where I have cleaned. I had had to give Jeffrey verbal correction ... only called to come back twice. Then I heard him yelp. I looked over and he was batting at something. I ran to him, thinking he was bitten by a snake but them I saw about 5 bees buzzing him. I was pulling him away, swiping them off him and suddenly they were everywhere. I yelled to Kevin and Jennifer to run. They ran to the house. Jeffrey and I ran with me bending down still swiping them off his body. We stopped about 3/4 up the drive. I was looking him over. Then I realized they were in my loose drawstring pants. I told Jeffrey "run." He did and I stood there dancing in my.driveway pulling off my pants. I started for the house and noticed bees were in my loose muscleshirt too. SHAT! Ripped that over my head, threw it down and here I go running to the house in a pair of loose, blousey green plaid boxers. LOL !

All three dogs were waiting at the back door. We went in. I gave Jeffrey a benedryl and examined him. He was so sweet, kissing my face. We both haven 7 bee stings each. We are okay. I cannot stand that they got Jeffrey!

I am done working outside today. Well, might do some later but right now, it is NAP TIME! Some adventures wear me out! ;)

Second, I bring a book and that's my treat. While it's loud in the laundromat, I can relax into a good book. Or needlework if you do that. Find something fun you can do while waiting for loads to finish.

Good Morning and Happy Sunday!

My BFF, and her husband and family, is due home this evening, but I'm hoping they stay at the beach another day because my BFF has not been well and she needs a break from life, for a while.

I've enjoyed watching favorite TV shows and movies while house sitting and such, but I think I will wander outside today and try to do a few small things to help her with the garden....

I noticed this year, that her very old Hydrangea bush, which is usually in full bloom with gigantic blooms in very deep shades of blue??? Well, this year marks the first year that the Hydrangea bloomed into deep gold and deep red flowers.....so I'm going to trim some blooms off and make a fall bouquet for her dining room table. :)

We've got today and tomorrow as days of mild Fall days of sunshine, then it's settling into cool brisk nights and mornings of foggy weather.

I have already been up long enough to walk the dog and make coffee, so I am sitting at our large rear window (in my chair with my feet on a stack of pillows), enjoying a gorgeous Sunday morning.

We have a few errands to run today, so I'm glad that it is supposed to drop to 85*; maybe Fall is really here after all!

Sunday was spent flying so it was not especially easy. There were 50 mph winds blowing on Our take off out of Vegas so it was quite bumpy for a while there. DC was not a happy camper. I actually kind of enjoyed it.

Happy Sunday & GQQD Morning!

Other than having technical difficulties with blood pressure, I'm feeling okay, but my BP readings say otherwise, so I'm staying home to rest in bed and hydrate with plenty of water. I was only going to go leaf peeping, stare at gorgeous trees, but blood pressure readings don't lie, so I'm going to do the right thing and stay home.

To keep from being totally disappointed, we at least has OMG gorgeous Pink Skies (the sunrise was absolutely breathtaking)! :eyebat: :balloon: :eyebat:

Here's to clean drinking water, mY warm bed and pillows, and an abundant supply of GQQD books to read and keep me company ( Thanks to mY sweet Santa!)

CBS Sunday Morning was good this week! Its my favorite way to start of Sunday, unless they are talking about depressing news.

My old man neighbor passed away last night, i am glad he is resting now. If there is a heaven he and my pup Dixi are visiting in it.

I'm with you two...I watch Sunday Morning on CBS every Sunday I get a chance to. Usually with a purring kitty snuggled up to me while trying to eat breakfast and have my coffee.

I did 3 loads of laundry, have Italian Sausage soup with barley, carrots and spinach in the crockpot and have chicken broth simmering on the stove for the chicken veggie soup I'll be making. Baking chocolate chip cookies for a friends birthday later.

Overeasy it was not! I beat Chad by about half an hour in order to move the rest of the furniture and stuff out of the rooms being steam cleaned and to get showers and clean and whatnot. I'm too pooped to pot right now.

For breakfast I had sliced strawberries sweetened with mostly Truvia and just a pinch of sugar. This along with eggs done over easy, some sausage links and a little unsweetened almond milk to drink. Right now I'm tumbling laundry and sipping tea so later I'll have the energy needed to kick into gear and pack for tomorrow's trip. This time it's my younger son doing the driving, taking me up to see the neurologist. We haven't spent much time together since the baby was born so it will be nice to have a mother son day, just the two of us.

Happy Sunday morning! I'm having my weekly date with Jane Pauley, otherwise known as Sunday morning on CBS.
I just got home a bit ago from a 5 night dog sitting job for a coworker and her husband and their 4 kids...two sweet dogs and a cat. I'm so glad to be home!
Today will be spent working on some crafting, doing a small amount of cooking and resting.

I've got the CBS Sunday morning show on and some knitting planned. Also some resting and some football are in the cards today. Love Sunday mornings!

Today is all about me. ......I got some priming to do (wash and condition my hair, facial, manicure and pedicure) and reading a GQQD book.....maybe make some apple cinnamon muffins and spend some time in the kitchen cooking up a nice brunch for myself. :balloon:

Started before the butt crack of dawn with the babies need to go out. Took them out and crawled back in bed for about 90 minutes before my mom woke me.

Took her to breakfast then grocery shopping. Home to do laundry oh YAY me NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!

So that is where the over easy ended now just finishing up with all of that and going to just relax the rest of the afternoon the GAME

And you will try Five Guys fries! The fries are GREAT. Go for a small because they fill a cup up and then throw even MORE in the bag so the portion is HUGE. Even if you are staying inside, your order comes in a bag. There are NO combos so be prepared to be a little spendy. Shakes are about 5 bucks for a small container. I've heard they are really good and you can mix flavors for free. If you are feeling especially brave, you can mix bacon flavor in with something else.

Little burgers aren't kiddy burgers but just have one patty. The regular burgers have two. Their burgers are good. Not the best I've ever had but still really good. The fries are what makes my day though. :)

HAPPY SUNDAY FOLKS!! I only worked worked 3pm-11pm shift yesterday and had to come home sick! Bad headache, throwing up, BP up. So I missed my 11pm-7am shift and that will drastically hurt my next paycheck........ It sucks because we just had the driveway paved (blacktop) and that was not cheap. Oh well if I'm sick I'm sick, right? I feel better today but not 100%. I'll go I for you two shifts and pray all goes well. I guess I better get to my primary doctor since these headaches seem to be coming more frequently. :blink::blink:

I woke up around 4:30 am but got up at 7:45 am. CBS Sunday Morning News was great today. Someday I would like to visit Savanah, GA.

It is cold in Texas this morning but too early to turn on the heat because this is just a cold snap. We will be back in the 80's Monday. Today I plan to mow and cook.

There's an low lying fog outside this last Sunday morning of October, and I'm going to stay home today and rest!

I will most likely spend the day in bed reading from several good books and just dote on me with good foods to eat and drink several cups of hot cocoa .....

I get to hang with my 19 month old nephew. Currently napping. We played with trucks, balls, the kitchen set and play food and talked about numbers and colors. Perfect way to spend a dark and rainy day.

Yesterday was a day of cavorting and witchery with myself at MAC to get some blood red lipsticks (It's WINTER! Time for the darker reds!), a sweet little lunch to myself, and general pampering.

Today is all about lounging around the house in fuzzy socks and chipping away at a couple of pieces of my side-hustle, pulling my winter clothes out and putting my summer stuff away, cooking up some decadent munchies for the week (paella, a pasta dish, and salad fixings), and a bit of cleaning.

I kinda love turning on some good music (today it's Lizzo's entire discography) and getting busy with my stuff.

Happy Sunday, Everyone!

I was whining on the phone last night to my Mom, complaining that the house is a mess, I need to do laundry, and it seems like it will never all get done. She advised me to start with the laundry, don't even think about the other stuff, then as I get the laundry done think about doing just one thing at a time. She said that's how she does it. I have gotten a lot done today with this method. Also, the extra hour of sleep helped.

Tiny Dog has an upset tummy, so she is getting lots of babying. I will make her some chicken broth and rice for dinner, and take her off her regular food for a day or two.

I didn't get around to shopping on Kroger Clicklist until too late today, so I won't be able to pick up my groceries until tomorrow. I might just go into the store instead. I can put off buying all the heavy stuff for another week or so.

Now, I think it is time for a break with warm cocoa. :tea:

Busyness will lead to easy later.

The Xmas tree is up and decorated. The inside of the house is decorated. The breakfast buffet was delicious. Now, its off to the deck to pack away the furniture and clean up - I'm ignoring it feels like and looks like snow is coming this afternoon.

Will be finished by 1pm. Then it is back into flannel jammies, sliding back under the covers, and overdosing on football for the rest of the day.

GQQD Morning and Happy Sunday to all.....

I've had the little Christmas tree up all year long....my BFF and her husband gave it to me last year, right after I came home from the nursing home. So it's either been on my dining room table or sitting on top of my kitchen refrigerator. ....it's on the dining room table with a unique Nutcracker I found at an yard sale, earlier last summer. I love Christmas, and keep my Christmas tree up all year long as an tinder of friends, family and loved ones.

I can't see well, the new glasses aren't helping much, so until I get back to the eye doctor this week, I will just read from larger print books here at home....and entertain myself with ongoing art projects and correspondence I'm working on.

I dont have any TV here at home, so there's that! LOL

Last night my BFF called me and invited me to share in their big family get together for Thanksgiving. They rent an community hall for their family dinners for special occasion, so it will be nice to spend the Thanksgiving weekend with her family.

I'm treating both of us to go see the Charles Dickens movie over the Thanksgiving weekend, so I'm looking forward to girl time that weekend!

Red and I are enjoying the crisp fall weather and making our Christmas lists. We discovered during the conversation that we like many others have trapped in the overwhelming commercialisim for over 50 + years. Stressing over what everyone wants instead of giving what we want to give.

Our lists are much smaller this year and we are at ease with our decisions.

We woke to a chilly morning, yes a fall day, finally!

Coffee was enjoyed, as we listened and reminisced over the 70's music channel. I was finishing up decorating the tree and house.

I made him German Pancakes. And then the afternoon came, and we walked to the movies and to share popcorn!

There may or may not have been popcorn thrown in my hair, to make it look like someone else was tossing it...lol....yes, I was with the jokester..

I can't quite believe it myself or how it happened but I have DVR'd the Rams/Eagles game and all the pre and post game discussions.

If my dad were still alive he would flip.

Some of our biggest fights were when my brothers and I were watching something on our one TV in the family room and dad would walk in and change the channel to watch football (or bowling-I will never go that far).

Good Sunday morning peeps!

We are taking our daughter and her bf to lunch for his birthday today.:wine:

Another snow storm with below zero wind chill is headed our way tonight, so we have stocked up with food and water and have had the propane filled...we don’t want to go anywhere tomorrow until the freeze ends.

I slept in and watched CBS Sunday Morning News. Now I need to make breakfast and plan my day.

GQQD Morning, happy Sunday Sundae!

I rose early due to the dogs waking me up: I sat out on the patio deck, while the dogs barked and played in the back yard, watching the sun rise and the glow on the tiny slivered moon. We have an Blue Moon coming soon..... I do love Blue Moon's. :stillheart:

Waffles sound good, so I think I'll make one for breakfast.

I am off to finish packing last few boxes and load on truck.

First off is gravy & sausage biscuits and a Starbucks....

Good Sunday morning! Will be a relaxing AM for Hopey & I. Then this afternoon we are unpacking more boxes....settling into our new abode even more so.

Woke up early, made dinner for breakfast. I read somewhere metabolism is at it's peak in the morning? I thought it was while you slept but in any case it seems to be working so why mess with a good thing - I've lost 8lbs so far. Anyhow the cats are outside doing their morning do. After breakfast I'll wash up the dishes, have some coffee, fiddle online a bit more. When the cats come in for their morning nap I'll use their down time to work on things up for the craft swap. No formal plans after that, other than maybe a little laundry. It's a peaceful morning and outside it looks like it's shaping up to be a great day. :)

I've done the some... up early... being productive ... waiting for cats to go to take a nap! One problem... I was so productive this morning that I want a nap too!

I had a lovely, light breakfast with chickory coffee and some banana nut cake.
Tiny Dog did not want to go out in the rain, so she was quick about it. It's cloudy and gloomy outside - the perfect day for staying in bed.

Still recuperating from two weeks of flu hell. The early morning mist gave way to a rainy day. Not pounding, just a steady drizzle. Perfect for quietly lounging, classical music and candles. Read some of my book and went on-line for some garden ideas as I plan to re-do the side bed this spring. I'm not much of a tv watcher but did flip it on and watched a show narrated by Penelope Keith called "Hidden Villages." She was touring Royal Deeside, Scotland and it was gorgeous. Need to add that to the travel list. I also put the word out among friends to pick a Braves baseball game and let's all go as single tickets are now on sale.

Until the game starts, there will be movies and lounging around crocheting a baby blanket.

I'm still on a high for making plan at work. Almost impossible in January. And I can add, we were closed two days during ice storm!

This morning was great! I slept in a bit and woke naturally (no alarm, yay!), took my time getting ready, took out the trash and recycling, went to the gym, had breakfast, took a shower and now I'm here, watching TV while DC putters in the kitchen and the washer swishes and hums.

We had an ice storm last night; and while it is pretty outside, it brings up the slip and slide issue while walking the dog. Luckily we purchased those things you slip on over your shoes that have spikes for walking on the ice! After 3 months here I wondered if we would ever need them...yay preplanning!

It's a wet, rainy Sunday morning here in the North East. I got up, took care of the furbabies, smooched on my honey and then went to the gym. Following that, there was breakfast, including the donuts that DC brought back from DD, a nice hot shower and now I'm about to leave for work. Boo.

Happy Sunday everyone! It's a gorgeous, beautiful (almost) spring day outside. The wind is blowing, and the chimes are ringing, but it's warm enough outside that the wind isn't cold. We had some heavy rains this week, so the pollen isn't even too bad. My tulip tree is lovely with big beautiful purple blooms. The azaleas are just starting to come out all over the yard. You can barely tell what color each one will be at the tips.

That’s why I still feel sleepy! I knew it was coming but then forgot yesterday. I have to set my alarm on weekends or I’ll sleep till noon.

There’s no clocks inside the house... just the cell phones which change automatically.
