Which term(s) do you prefer?
A woman, recently married, was happy to now be able to call the man in her life her husband rather than her spousal equivalent. Spousal equivalent is new to me. I am familiar with wife, husband, husbutch, partner, companion, significant other, boy(boi)friend, girlfriend etc. How do you refer to the person in your life and how do you prefer they refer to you?
