I hope it turns out well for you. I know going back to college was one of the smartest things I ever did. It was a rough few years, but well worth it.

today...on the hunt for ants. I use some great stuff called Terro...just a drop on a little piece of cardboard, tucked in a corner of the kitchen counter (near the window where they like to come in). They drink it up, go home, and poison their nest. It's mean, but hey...if they don't want to be dead they need to stay outside...that's my theory!

I'm working hard on project documents this morning

so just bouncing in and out today.

Today looks like a beautiful day in the neighborhood. Breakfast looks great, too.

with those ants..The Windex I chased them with made light oak Pergo floors shine very nicely. I went to Homo Depot last night on way home from work.and bought Grant's Ant Stakes. They go around the perimiter of the house, in and out if need be, and do something similar to what you mentioned. They take a snack back to their casa.

I wish everyone a day filled with fun and fantastic adventures.

aargh i had a patron complain about getting bitten by ants yesterday and on Tuesday i got my first, second, third, and fourth mosquitos bites of the season...IT'S STARTING ALREADY...good morning everybody and try to stay bug-free!!!

This gal needs a small amount of caffeine to get me to my 10 pm bedtime.

Evening everyone...sorry I'm late!

Dinner tonight...stir-fried sirloin, onion, carrots and broccoli with just a bit of soy over jasmine rice. I have being soooooo productive today that I forgot to post about dinner!

Hmmmm.....dessert....I've got homemade brownies....and vanilla ice cream...so I'll whip up some homemade hot fudge....and my favorite sliced bananas heated in a little butter, brown sugar and a tiny shot of rum. Mmmmm....

Good morning, kitchen dwellers

Ms. Jo - hope you feel more in fighting trim this morning. I am still tossing handfuls of positive energy out into the universe to get you down here ASAP

cinderella - Mr. Strutt and I have just resumed remodeling on our house as well. We bought a fixer-upper in 2000 and had about 2/3 of it done before we had Katie, including new windows, but then took a hiatus for the past five years. Next project: install ceiling fans in the kitchen, living room and both bedrooms!

I need to jump in the shower and get ready for work. I love my job, but today would be a good day to stay home and lounge in the pool. Think Mr. S has plans to and maybe have a couple of friends over this weekend, though, so I will be a good girl and keep my nose to the grindstone.
