I have discovered mercury glass ornaments. I love the antique-ness of them! I have a couple of these aqua ones on my tree this year.

I have now purchased thirty-eight gifts-- because i bought a new "reading is fun" tshirt for every library worker
Six more to go and i'll be done with staff-- my three direct reports will get something more besides the t-shirt, and there are three staff who never want our t-shirts (of which we buy 2-3 per year) The three staff who never want t-shirts are getting gift bags of hurricane survival items: crank flashlights, waterproof matches, and water purification tablets-- because a some of us are still homeless from Harvey and I think we all made ourselves a lot of promises about being prepared for the next one that we have not gotten around to keeping
