The Night Watch by Sarah Waters.
I've only just begun to read this historical fiction novel, but it is a wonderful read. Sarah Waters' book was shortlisted for both the 2006 Man Booker Prize and the 2006 Orange Prize. The novel, which is told backward through third-person narrative, takes place in 1940s London during and after World War II. Spoiler Alert: You can find out more about this book over @ GoodReads (LINK). ![]()
