I'd also suggest The Goodbye Girl....it's a very good movie, starring Richard Dreyfuss and Marsha Mason...... I like both movies and think of them as in a genre of romantic situations involving people who are single and want to date or be in a committed relationship with each other. Although both movies do not involve Lesbian or Queer romantic scenarios, I think both romantic movie situations are believable situations anyone of Gay, Lesbian or Queer orientation can relate too.

I would also suggest The Mirror Has Two Faces 1996....stars: Barbra Streisand, Jeff Bridges, Lauren Bacall, George Segal, Mimi Rogers, Pierce Brosnan, Elle Macpherson, and Brenda Vaccaro.
