hmmm good question....I am not sure if its the age or just a certian time in all of our lives that we take stock of where we are and where we want to be and make changes to get there....I find in my walk of life I do this every few yrs. I do a lot of self examination in general, but there's definitely been a change with my kids growing up and out. Bittersweet.

BTW I think many potential employers set people up with those questions. I say this because once upon a time I was a manager too. In the industry of companies that require asst. mgrs(especially fast food and convenience stores) it's not like they do much, if anything, to assist an employee in reaching any goals. Many of them are looking for a body to fill a space for as long and as effectively as possible. *shrugs*
