That awkward moment when you are on the phone with your cable company, your Golden Retriever who is sitting closely next to you lets out a really loud belch.. It suddenly get's quiet on the other end of the phone.. you reassure the operator that was NOT you before you both begin laughing uncontrollably.

That's impressive. I do believe there's another situation that just might tie, if not beat, you.

Happ, smiling people....in a church...and the reverend says, "Speak now or forever hold your peace" and somewhere in the waaay back of the church we heard "Waaaaaaaaahk" followed by a smattering of titters by the kids in the place silenced long enough for us to hear the bride's responding "Pfffft-weeep".

True story.

I’ve a works do coming up; well, two for the different regions I work in….I couldn’t decide whether to buy something ‘off the peg’ or make something. Either way, it has to be formal evening wear as the evening is a black tie for the men/Butches and LBD/evening gown for the ladies.

I’m looking through some options and as I hate shopping, I’m fraying at the edges, so, I try to inject a little humour into the situation….hmmm! …. OK! So, maybe it wasn’t the best thing to say in jest in a busy clothing store….I show K an outfit gesticulation in an over the top, fun way and say: “Would my bum look big in this?”
K looks and replies: “ABSOOOOLUTELY it will! The more to see the merrier!” I saucily sway my ample derriere at her and then another woman shopper says: “The cheek of some people! Has that woman NO decency at all? What a rude thing to say about her bottom! Some friend she is!” The woman then says to me: “Wear a longer top to even out your undesirable bits!”

I don’t have any undesirable bits and K doesn’t think so, either, lol!

It’s a lot less hassle to make something, soooo, I’m going for a lace and satin number, lol!

That awkward moment where as soon as some unknown person lets out a big stinky fart on the bus, your coworker gets on and you make a big show of covering your nose with your scarf so they know the smell isn't coming from you, and then you're afraid you're overdoing it and look guilty, so you just sit there awkwardly until you reach your stop.

That might just be me though.
