I haven't read this whole thread so sorry if this has already been mentioned but the "f" looks salmon colored to me, certainly not the stereotypical baby pink. Kind of like pink on fire, fierce.

i noticed it right away. i just shrugged it off as me being picky. i appreciate the work that went into all of it, and the work to maintain it.

i was once accused as being a Top incognito because i use blue font.

i don't like pink, i like blue. That's it that's all.

I LOVED the fuckery logo. Alas though, people said everything from "It's arrogant" to "the word 'fuckery' is offensive" to "what about the children?"

I still think that "Queer Fuckery" fits what we do here for the most part

YES! I have always thought the same thing.

I appreciate the OP's critical thinking skills and applaud her for voicing thoughts that have made me think a bit harder in terms of the possibility of a traditional color schemata and its (potential for being a) social construct.

I have always loved the intertwining nature of the Plant's logo. While I personally don't love pink, I appreciate the vibrant nature of the chosen colors.

They pop and we as a community pop!

It's a fierce pink to me too.

And ya know what? I've loved pink all my life. There are 47 shades of pink actually. Not all colors have that many. Brown for instance only has 22.

I write in pink on here. I have tons of pink clothes. It doesn't make me any more or any less a girly girl. It's not a binary thought or anything like that.

I liked pink before pink was cool.

Not because it has any association to being a girl, truth. It's just a beautiful color between red and the shade of white. It pops. It's pretty.

I see randomness, graffiti, carefree and floating......and no, I have not taken any happy pills today.

When I was creating the washer set for the raffle, I was custom spray painting the rings on the box; of which some of you got to follow my progress as I went. When I was out in my little workshop/garage working on it one night, I was trying to figure out where to put the next ring and which color it needed to be....then I thought: it doesn't matter; it's going to fit right in with the others and it doesn't have to be perfect!

That is how I feel here at the Planet....I fit right in no matter who I am talking to, and god knows I do not have to be perfect.

So having played WITH the logo; I like it even more!

As far as the font....OMG, kudos to y'all trying to find the right one! I sat here for several nights trying different fonts for the writing on the side of the washer set. OMG, who knew there were so many out there! I ended up going with the bold stencil font for all of the writing. I don't want to have to mess with THAT chore again...lol
