Knowing that the annoying barking dog is NOT mine.

Big galumphin' galoot needing a den, but not wanting to be in his crate--and curling up on a blanket he dragged under the cat's feeding table.

The ferocity of a teensy twelve-pound doglet with a bone when the big galumphin' galoot breathes her same air... and the way she suddenly stops growling to look up and implore me ever-so-politely with those big soulful brown eyes, "Mom? Please don't take my bone... please, Mom?"

Discovering the mudroom is warmer than the rest of the house today! Open the door and let the light in!
