Cooking - turning smashed up previously flash frozen tater tots into "hashbrowns", because food wise I've run out of just about everything else I can prepare without having to resort to using a recipe. Though I'm trying really, really hard to watch my spending/save money, I think it's time to crack - get up out from under all this self imposed discipline and take myself fresh food shopping, then maybe even out for a latte. Earlier this week I tried to recreate a pasta salad I made last week. Chopped and diced almost the same ingredients, except for the canned tuna. I opened up the pink salmon can instead. Oh boy, wrong move. It had tiny fish bones I picked out and some random skin pieces. Mixed it up. Hmmmm, fishy tasting. Maybe once it sits in the refrigerator it will work out.

Omg...worst stuff ever! It smelled like cat food. So out it went into the trash today.

Out on my porch is the prettiest grey wild neighborhood cat, which I feed every now and then. So I get some dry food. Hmmmm....I'm wondering if he would like my pasta salad.

So what I was just doing..lol...picking thru the salad I just tossed, pulling out the veggies. And he ate it! The noodles!

Taking care of a rain soaked, flea covered, crying, bony kitten we found on our stoop when we came home. We have flea treated him, offered him food/water, kept him warm, gave him high calorie gel, wiped his eyes and ears.
Also attempted a bath, but he went limp so it.will wait until he gets more calories.
