Smoked mackerel is yummy. As are Arbroath smokies. Not forgetting smoked salmon and caviar with scrambled eggs. Smoked cod loin is also rather good. Smoked haddock (undyed) poached in milk and butter and then parsley sauce made from the milk is delish.

If you can get it try Loch Fyne smoked salmon. A light smoke is my preference.
